The dress is a lovely fabric, light and flowy with a perfect fit, well made, and the color is a nice soft blue. It was however very long (I am about 5'61/2"), so my daughter put 3 rows of tucks at the bottom to take up the length while preserving all of the beautiful lace at the hem. I love the petal sleeves as well. Because of the elastic at the empire waist, we were able to take out the zipper to make it a bit more historically accurate. I added a brooch at the front for a fancier evening look. It was a perfect tea and dinner dress for our Jane Austen fest. Highly recommend.

Flattering fit and light weight flowing fabric. If you are on the shorter side you list need to hem a little. The quailty of the gloves does not match that of the dress.

This dress fit so well and was not too thin! It has a liner underneath and is very light and breathable. It's a beautiful powder blue, very happy with my purchase! I switched out the yellow colored ribbon for a more creamy antique white color ribbon to match the shoulder lace better.

I usually wear a 2X, so I bought a 3X and it worked very well. I have 2 custom made Regency dresses, but due to health concerns, I quick needed a dress with open sleeves (so I could wear an arm brace). This dress is well made and pretty. The top fabric is seersucker, which gives it texture; the lining is white. Of course, I had to shorten it (I am 4 ft. 9 in.). I also, as someone else suggested, added tiny ribbon loops to help hold the ribbon that goes around the waistline. I used white ribbon instead of the off-white that was included. The dress is sturdy and can handle dancing, travel, and handwashing. What a great price for a pretty dress!

Love this dress! Wore it to a jane austen festival. I'm 5'6 and I had to hem it about 2 inches. I also took the elastic out of the front (made it too puffy) and added it to the back (from the zipper to almost the side seem. It helped give the back area the classic gathered look!

I purchased this for a Jane Austen themed Halloween party. It was super comfortable and I received many compliments. I highly recommend it.
