Works great with shop vac
Quick delivery, easy to use & helps with the dust problem. Hooking it up with the shop vac was easy. The supplyed hose & the vac hose together allowed for easy, efficientWork flow.

Works better than any other of this type I have used before.
This model works almost perfect. Holds the paper well, the air channels are designed deep enough and properly placed to allow the dust to be sucked into the vacume cleaner completely. The channels work so well that depending on the suction of the vacume your using you may have to open the collar on the handle to keep the sander from sticking to the wall. Allowing the sander to be able to move. The handle design fits your grip well. It's solidly constructed. The only complaint is that I was sent a box missing one of the hose adapters. They're going to send me out the missing piece. Makes sanding drywall compound much less of a mess. They sent me the missing piece, I received it the next day.

Eliminates most of the dust.
It's not 100% and I knew that before purchasing, but is does take care of most of the dust which I'm somewhat allergic to, especially plaster dust. The suction is strong which is good for obvious reasons, but somewhat problematic for me because I had a difficult time moving it, especially overhead and on vertical surfaces. I don't think it would be much of an issue for those who have stronger hands and wrists. The replacement screens are a bit pricey but, in spite of all I've pointed out, I'm still glad I bought it and would buy it again.

Well
Well, ultimately I went back to my old poll sanding pad. This product does what it is intended to do, suck up the drywall dust, and does it well but too well. If you use a vacuum that actually sucks then you might have too much suction. The suction reduction valve on this tool does not reduce enough suction so the tool will suck/stick to the wall causing too much down force so you will end up with deep gouges and sanding lines even using the lightest grit sanding screen. I tried to reduce suction by drilling several 1/2” holes in the hose fitting. It helped but I still was not satisfied with the result, still too much suction. The idea of this tool is good but needs a better way to reduce the suction.

Well Worth Money!!
This worked very well. My brother has a $1k drywall sander and it does no better job than this one. Admittedly he is a pro, and the professional sander has better ergos, but for small jobs this did a great job. The adjustable vent was the key to success here, you can adjust for your particular vacuum. . Ergos were okay but not great. I have big hands and arms and the handle was a bit small for me. Again, for small jobs it is more than good enough!

Works great - no dust!!
Hooked right up tp my shop vac. Sanding is easier since you do not need to press as hard - the suction does that for you. Large flat surface of the tool helps to get wall nice and flat. 99% of the dust goes into the shop vac. Cleanup after sanding is way, way easier

Scratcher not sander
This product will suck the dust with no problem. THE PROBLEM is it will also scratch the walls big time because the sanding paper is too rough and the vacuum presses the sander too much onto to the wall. No matter how lightly you try to sand, the scratches can be seen and you will have to do what I did, sanding by hand with a vacuum cleaner nozzle near where you're sanding. Not worth the aggravation. I do not recommend it and would never buy it, even at a lower price.

Better than I expected
Does a decent job. It doesn't collect all of the dust, but I never expected that. It does keep the majority out of the air, but still doesn't hurt to wear a mask. Very sturdy and about as comfortable as one would expect with a vacuum hose hanging off it.

Goldblatt G05028 Dust Free Hand Sander
I would not recommend this product because when you hookup the vacuum there is NO suction at all. I think when they designed it and built it they did not put the hole at the top of the handle for the vacuum to suck you have to drill it out. Bad design or quality control sucks
