Fantastic value for money, easy to read at a glance, and great backlight.
Bought this to specifically sit on my buoyancy aid for water sports. It has entered water several times so far, and performed well. It looks like casio's G-shocks but for a lot less, and has been fantastic value for money. It's easy to read the time at a glance when I'm out on the water, and I love the backlight function. On many other casio watches with the "Illuminator" feature, they have moved away from the cool blue electro luminescence backlighting to an orange LED which simply isn't as bright or aesthetically pleasing for me personally. The backlight on this however, is a unique white LED that turns the normal display into a negative display which is really cool. There is also a vibration alarm function which I have tested but not had much use for. However I think it's a great feature for those who want a watch with an alarm function that has an option to quietly alert you to a timer.Absolutely an underrated casio watch and fantastic value for money compared to many other casio models that doesn't seem to be talked about enough.

The CASIO watch to go for at a reasonably low price
Firstly reloj is watch in Spanish I think.CASIO Have finally listened - they have dispensed with the superfluous paraphernalia on the dials and raised the height of the digits. They have also added the "proper buttons" to the case guard plate.I also like the up and down adjustment on a watch at this price. Compared to the W800 (which was until now the only really low cost watch to go for in terms of functions - allowing for the countdown timer soft hack and the fact that it displays the year prominently - who needs that ?) it is large but if you have a decent sized wrist you should find this watch comfortable and it has a good sized strap which leaves two holes spare on my 8.5" wrist. The backlight is excellent and the vibration alarm is a great facility.Setting is very and I mean very intuitive and the operation in super easy. replacement straps are about 10 GBP and the water resistance means - well you know what it means. It is my CASIO to go for watch at the moment

Does what it's supposed to do at a sensible price.
I bought the watch for the vibrating alarm as I am quite deaf. This watch solved my problem, I also use it for kayaking.

Too fiddly and adjustments not intuitive
Ultimately I was disappointed. The vibrating alarm was OK as a pill alarm, but otherwise I found the buttons fiddly with fiddly instructions in annoyingly tiny type. Not very intuitive and I had to keep referring to the instructions. That could just be me but the button sequences can be confusing.

Wouldn't wake even the lightest sleeper .
This was bought for the vibrating alarm function to wake me up . Really disappointed as it only vibrates a few seconds then stops and it isn't long enough or powerfull enough to wake anyone up . The watch is ok though .
