This floor mattress is comfortable and exactly what we needed. It’s soft enough to sleep on but still supportive, and easy to move around or roll up when not in use. Perfect for guests, kids’ sleepovers, or just lounging around. Great quality for the price and a really versatile addition to our home.

Sick as all hell. Not crazy soft since its pretty thin. My boyfriend likes it a lot, me not as much since I've been sleeping on a thick ass ~10 inch something memory foam mattress like all my life but its still pretty comfy. Also it folds up pretty easy, I didn't think it would but it's easy to fold into thirds like they show. It's nice and convenient, definitely compact too! Definitely a worthwhile buy. Took a little bit to expand all the way, like a day or two?

If you have slept in a traditional bed your whole life and you’re not used to sleeping on a Japanese floor mattress, you may have a bit of a hard time adapting to it. But that’s not really an issue with this item in particular, just a completely different way to get your precious sleep. So if you want something thicker than this mattress, you’re gonna have to pay a lot more for that. That being said, this mattress is just right for the price. It’s well built and thick enough for a Japanese floor mattress, on par with some other floor mattresses I’ve tried while traveling across Asia. I also love the pattern and the color. There were no weird smells when I received the item and the mattress has been holding up well. I fold it up and put it in the trunk when I travel or just use it when I have guests over. I always wake up feeling refreshed. I like this mattress so much, I am thinking about buying a second one.

As expected for price. Needed temporary floor mat to sleep on when dog had surgery so I could be close while she was healing the first week. Not great when on my side but put thick exercise mat under and then it was fine. Two large dogs a cat and myself on the twin was not fun but it served its purpose and I’m thankful for that. I did sew a zippered cover for it and a twin mattress pad fit perfectly. Not easy to fold, ended up rolling it. Would be fine for young kids to sleep on at grandparent's overnight but for adults not great and definitely not for long term use. I noted some people said theirs had stains, this was brand new and sealed in a vacuum sealed roll. No issues.

I waited to write a review until it had been used a handful of times. I use this for grandkid sleepovers. The oldest that uses it is 13 years old and weighs about 135#. She said it’s comfortable and my younger, smaller grandkids like it too. I don’t think I’d be happy sleeping on it after a short try out, nor would I think, most adults. But it’s the perfect solution for younger ones. I roll it up and secure it with a bungee cord for storage in a closet. It did expand to the depth claimed after a few days and the quality seems sturdy. I’m happy with my purchase.

I wanted a Japanese style futon but didn’t want to commit to an expensive mattress. This is turned out to be fantastic its nice and firm with just the right amount of cushioning. Says it’s 3 inches thick but it falls a bit short in that measurement, but i don’t notice any difference. I’ve slept on it a a couple of nights and i find it super comfortable better than my regular bed, my back doesn’t hurt in the mornings. I’m 5’9” 145 - 150 pounds and works great for me. Although I don’t see how it’s foldable, its pretty firm and doesn’t exactly bend or fold up with out maximum effort i just lean it against the wall when not in use. Maybe rolling it would work but that also takes some effort.

Bought this for camping. I am 54 and I often use air mattresses that mysteriously completely deflate after half a night sleep so my back ends up meeting a rock intimately. Yuck. this with a couple comforters on top underneath my body worked really well- I was surprised. Only forgot how big a bed would be with the width I bought but that's on me. Is relatively light- Surprised that the quality and comfort (so far, been weeks)

I got this for my toddler for nap time. I also liked that it was big enough that both of us could lay on it and nap. Let this thing get fully expanded before laying on it!! Mine took about 3 days (that is typical of any bed in a box you can buy online)! It expanded nicely, its very comfortable, and offers more support than what I was expecting. Before I got this my toddler was napping on a much thinner mat and it wasn't the greatest. My toddler loves this new mattress and sleeps way better during nap time!
