The 8 x 12 seems to be the best size for a single meal. I put food in prepackaged plastic containers and stick the container in with the top upside down so it can vacuum and vacuum seal it. It makes it very easy to microwave and remove after allowing it to thaw. Pics are a chicken pot pie casserole. When I cook something in the oven, I just make an extra casserole and cut it into four or six pieces and I have 4 to 6 tv dinners. these bags seem to seal well. Just don’t let the liquids get in the seal. You can put a small piece of paper towel in that will block the liquids.
