Very easy to assemble. Perfect size to put toys and books. I was worried about the unpleasant smell, but it turns out that the smell is not very strong. My son loves it!

when I bought this bookshelf, my Intent for it to be my daughters bookshelf. However, we ended up putting it in the living room and our cats. Use it now to watch the birds outside the window. Needless to say it has multiple uses. I love this open concept shelf because it gives my daughter the opportunity for independence to grab her own books and toys. It was easy to assemble and very sturdy compared to other shelves I have bought in the past.

I used a power tool to assemble in less than 35 mins. I like it. Good amount of space. Now, the bad: I opened the box and BAM, this chemical odor took over my living room. Had to open all windows to get rid of the smell. I would not say the odor was bad, but it was strong.

This is a perfect addition to our nursery. Good quality for the price. Easy enough to put together. Can't wait to use it.

We’ve ordered a few pieces of furniture from Amazon with varied success. This bookcase came packaged so securely and all of the parts were clearly labeled (they stuck the sticker on the edges that will be put together so you don’t have to worry about removing stickers and the residue left over). The instructions were clear and it was put together by myself in 30mins. It feels sturdy enough to use in my children’s room and I’m really happy with this purchase. Will look into buying more furniture from this seller.

I love the shelf. It works in our space, good quality, and is the perfect size and design to hold our baby’s books and toys. My only complaint is that it smells really bad. We have had it in a well ventilated room for several days and it still smells. We can’t put it in the baby’s room yet. If you don’t have a place to let this sit to off gas you may want to look elsewhere. It’s especially hard to let it off gas in winter since leaving a window open let’s cold and rain inside at my house. I didn’t deduct any stars because once it stops stinking it is worth it.
