Liqui Moly Radiator Cleaner | 300 ml | Cooler additive | SKU: 2051

I added this Liqui Moly radiator cleaner during a coolant flush on an older vehicle. The additive mixes quickly, and after letting the engine run, I could see the old coolant draining out with noticeably more debris than a water flush alone. The bottle is the right size for a single treatment, and the instructions are clear. After flushing and refilling with fresh coolant, the engine temperature held more consistently, especially during longer drives. Minor note: it’s important to run the heater while circulating the cleaner so it reaches the full system — not really a con, just part of the process. For anyone doing DIY coolant maintenance, this helps get a more thorough clean.

The Best Product

Used it when I bought a neglected car with the original coolant and 90K miles. Removed a lot of debris, residue and dirt from the radiator and hoses. All Liqui Moly products are german quality.

Using it to flush my cooling system of my 2014 F150 3.5L Ecoboost. I can't really tell if it's working. I can just see that it foams a little when I drain my radiator. My radiator and old orange coolant was not cloudy and there was no slimy, muddy liquid. I'm flushing just to make sure everything is working properly. I'm rinsing 3-4, maybe 5-6 times, or until I'm satisfied all of the cleaner has been drained out. I don't like how I must do my radiator maintenance. My truck has a 16 quart capacity, but you can only drain out 1.5-2 quarts at a time. I just have to keep draining and filling (with distilled water) until I feel it's clear. Then add concentrated coolant. There isn't a radiator cap. Just a coolant degas bottle. It's not hard, just very time consuming as you have to wait until the engine is cool enough to drain it.

Nice product that does the job. I just suggest that after this is used. Flush Radiator again with Distilled Water to ensure all residue is removed.

It cleans the radiator very well. I used full quantity and flushed with battery distilled water 3 times and radiator was cleaned completely.
