I bought this fountain hoping it would help my cats drink more water, and honestly it worked better than expected. One of my cats was curious immediately and the other took a day or two, but now they both use it constantly. The running water seems to attract them way more than a regular bowl. The fountain itself looks clean and modern, and the stainless steel parts are a huge plus because they’re easier to keep clean and don’t hold odors like plastic can. The pump is surprisingly quiet too — you can barely hear it running unless the water level gets low. Setup was simple, cleaning hasn’t been difficult, and the water stays noticeably fresher throughout the day. I also like being able to see the water level easily so I know when it needs a refill. Overall I’m really happy with it. My cats are drinking more water, it looks nice in the kitchen, and it feels much higher quality than I expected for the price.

Very happy with this purchase! The stainless steel design looks modern and feels durable, and it keeps the water fresh and cool for a long time. It was easy to set up and my pets started using it right away. I also noticed it runs quietly compared to other fountains I’ve tried. Cleaning is simple, and the overall quality feels much better than expected for the price. Definitely a great upgrade for pet owners!

At first, my cat was NOT interested. No idea why. But after a few weeks, he took to drinking from it, & clearly prefers it. (He gets anxious when I take it to clean! Follows me to the kitchen, & waits for me to replace it where HE wants it, & drinks from it right away. He doesn't like the "flower" at all. So I use the fountain without it. I'm sure some cats like it, or it doesn't matter to them. The pump made a noise a few weeks after I set it up, & Veken sent me a replacement, quickly. The pump has worked perfectly, since, nearly 2yrs now. My only quibble is the viewing window is VERY hard to see the water level. I've tried turning the blue LED away from the window & towards it, looking at it during the day, in the dark, & using a flashlight. I've noticed the water runs low after about 10 days, so as long as I clean & refresh it every 7 to 10 days, it's fine. Well worth the expense to provide fresh water, in a stainless steel fountain: no algae or scum build up, easily cleaned, aerated water that ripples/moves (healthy & preferred by cats).

I purchased this fountain at the end of February. I set it up immediately and my kitties loved it! I performed all the needed daily and weekly maintenance, and used spring water only to help keep it from "sliming up" as water bowls sometimes do. I cleaned the pump regularly. The design was much simpler than previous pumps I had to maintain in the past, plus they even give you a brush to use to clean it! Smart! However... one morning I noticed a crowd of kitties around the fountain. Alas! The pump no longer pumped! The light was still working, however. I disassembled the fountain, cleaned the pump (I had cleaned it 3 days previously), checked all connections, used a different outlet, but the pump was not working - just the light. I looked for contact info in the manual, and sent an email to the address given. I received an immediate response (a few hours!) asking me to basically replicate what I had already done, which I did. They also needed a picture of the pump's batch number to help them figure out what could possibly be a defective batch. They immediately sent out a replacement which should be here tomorrow (less than 2 days after I responded with the requested info!) I came to post this review as a positive review for the company and the product, and only then saw another person had the same thing happen to her, right after I had ordered my own fountain. I have no doubt but that Veken is going to get to the bottom of this problem. They seem to take their business and customer happiness seriously. I will actually purchase another fountain soon as I think we could use an additional fountain, as now all the kitties drink quite a bit more, and it will be another one just like this one!

Purchased the stainless steel option. It’s very easy to clean and more compact compared to our old plastic fountain. It flows pretty quiet and holds a large amount of water. My only complaint is that they don’t sell official replacement spout parts. The flower is nice but my dog chooses to lean over the front spouts to drink from one near the back, which gets him soaked and the floor around wet. Wish there were Veken replacements of different flower spout options.

Works very well! My cats enjoy drinking out of this fountain, and I've had no issues setting it up. I have it plugged into the wall, and I've had no issues so far with it turning off or not filtering correctly. The stainless steel keeps gunk to a minimum, which is perfect for my cat's health. I also like the extra filters and the mat it comes with.

Far and away the best cat fountain we have tried out of 6/7. Quiet, efficient, attractive ( according to cats😸) and easy to clean. Outstanding value for $$.

So far it’s as wonderful as I expected it to be! We had a fountain before for our Cat but it was plastic and it lasted longer than expected but it still was very hard to properly clean it. I got recommended by our Vet to get her a stainless steel fountain if possible the next time we got one. Assembly was very easy. I love how it has a switch on the cord for the light and for the filter. I like how you can just turn it off at the cord instead of totally unplugging it. The light is so nice as it shows how much water is in it plus it’s nice to be able to see it at night. Noise: There is no noise! *in the picture I noticed the water in the fountain looks brownish and I just saw that but it’s NOT from the fountain it’s actually a reflection from the items on the shelf just above where it sits. I wanted to add this one in just in case anyone saw it and was wondering. Filter: Very simple also! But please remember to run the filter under cool water before you put it on as I almost missed tbat part and it activates the filter making it more efficient. The fountain or the one I got actually came with 3 filters and 3 sponges as the sponge goes into the filter itself and it comes with one already inserted. Cat acceptance: I am adding in this little extra comment because Cats are not lovers of change. Our Cat watched me fill it with water and she is a very vocal cat and she still walked up to it when I got it flowing and she looked at it and walked away. She stood back and looked at it and within about 10 minutes or less was drinking from it! So being there is no splashing (as some do have), and absolutely no sound she really loves it. I also love how it comes with the silicone mat that sits under it. All in all I am so far, very pleased with it and most importantly our cat gives her new fountain “5 paws!”

Very good water fountain easy to clean keeps water good for a couple weeks

Its cute and dainty but not too small, perfect for my chihuahua and my cat! Even my lab has taken a liking to it, I will need to buy a really big one for her lol. Good quality, its a thin stainless steel, it could dent easy if dropped probably, but im not throwing my fountain around to find out. It came in perfect shape and it was easy to assemble! The only thing the little plastic pieces where the cord goes through in the back can fall off easy, so just be aware of that! But thats such a minor thing. Its cute it works and it has a night light.

My cats love this and I notice them drinking a little more than they normally do. Stainless steel is perfect and keeps water cool. Make sure to clean every w weeks to a month and switch the filters. It comes with 5 extra so youre set for a while. Love this for our kitties and our home!

It took the cats a couple days to get used to it before they drank from it. Now they do no problems, and they still like to lick the shower curtain after a shower. They did that before anyway. Only thing different from the Catit fountain we had before is the motor is a little louder, but not too much so. We only notice it when water level is low or it’s actually quiet quiet in the house (no zoomies time). Easy to put together and operate.
