They are so comfy in your hand. What I like about the wood quality is, it does not slip in your hands (like I find with the metal ones they become slippery).I also find with the wooden crochet hooks, they glide smoothly through the wool. I did take a very fine sandpaper just to shape the tip abit, so that it grabs the wool better. Everyone has a different technique to crochet. So I custom it to my liking. That's what I like about these.
