I snore. I’m not delighted with the fact that I snore. My husband hates the fact that I snore. I have not ever been successful totally in preventing snoring and I have been trying all sorts of products that have the opportunity to help me stop snoring. Nothing is fool proof.I have tried multiple products over the past couple of years – so far mouthguards seem to be my best option. While they have not been able to totally make me stop snoring – at least, according to my husband, it’s the most helpful thing so far. And it’s not near as horrible as things that zap you in the middle of the night while you’re sound asleep if you’re snoring.And in case you’re wondering – no I don’t have sleep apnea. There are those of us in the world that just snore.I have pretty much grinded my way through the appliances for my mouth that I’ve been using for the last year. So I thought I would try vital sleep.This is a truly well-made product. The directions that come with it are unbelievably terrific – clear, readable, specific and concise. One of the best things is there’s a 60 day moneyback guarantee if you can’t make the product work for you.Now flat out - this company tells you that the product may not be for everybody – and it outlines certain situations where it might not work. When have you ever heard a company say that?Imust be made funny.- because no matter what I tried, I could never make it comfortable. I contacted their customer service to find out to see what I might’ve been doing incorrectly or if there’s a way to make it more comfortable. A person named David returned my message and gave me clear and specific ideas and directions on how to improve things. Since I really wanted this to work – I tried everything he suggested.. There were improvements to be sure. But I could never get to the point where I could sleep with it all night and not have any discomfort or pain or not have it fall out of my mouth. And it is quite likely, but I have a problem with my jaw that perhaps I was never diagnosed with after a car accident. After many weeks of trying it, I contacted their customer service again, explained the situation and they helped in every way they knew how. I was disappointed that I could not make it work because I really wanted to. I’m desperate for something that allows my husband to sleep through the night next to me.But David and the vital sleep company did as they promised to do – refunded my purchase price. They even sent me a link to a guide for snoring tips – things to do to make one’s life easier and keep from snoring. Things I never heard about before.Is there better Customer Service than that??? I really don’t think so. Thank you vital sleep for giving me the opportunity to try your product. It truly is well-made, thoughtfully made – and I’m sure by someone who’s a snorer because every effort at comfort was made in that product.The product was not a good fit for me . – Having the ability to mold and shape The Appliance to one’s own mouth strikes me as seriously wonderful. It’s very uncomfortable and my teeth felt like they were in the wrong place every morning I tried wearing it. I gave it a week straight to get used to it and it was just too painful. I think the hard white plastic is just to ridged since I’m a tooth grinder.

Molding went well, and this fits in my mouth quite comfortably. My only complaint is that it squeezes my teeth a little. If I had moved around more when setting the impression it might be even more comfortable.As for helping me not snore. Yes, it helps alot. My snoring seems mostly due to my jaw. I like that I was able to adjust this to the right balance of opening my airways without being too uncomfortable on my teeth.Will have to see how well it holds up over time.Will likely purchase again when the time comes.

This product works for me. I snore very loud and this device helps open up my airway by moving my tongue forward. HOWEVER, buyer beware. I ordered one the other day to replace my old one which was wearing out after a year or nightly use. Amazon shipped my a used one! Gross! I contacted VitaSleep and they are direct shipping me a new one priority mail. The product should be smooth at first, then you put your own dental imprint on it after following directions.

First night I slept good but second night I woke up with HORRIBLE jaw pain and can no longer use the product. I would not recommend this product. You should not have pain from a device that is suppose to help you!!

Several adjustments were made to the mouth guard, it's too bulky, uncomfortable and didn't fit properly.

I thought it would be much better

Have used this product for several years now and each time I look at the market for a better product, I keep coming back. Very durable and works well if fitted properly. For an underbite , I wouldn't move the lower tray very far forward as it's difficult to keep your teeth in it at night with that much pull on the lower jaw.
