Delivers exactly what I wanted!
I have three trips under my belt with this bag now. I feel comfortable calling it a great carry-on. Its wheels are the smoothest of any 8-wheel bag I've ever used, which is almost a drawback because any push gets it in motion and it rolls downhill faster than I can walk. It is the easiest bag to roll through an airport, even with my laptop bag securely on it. It doesn't tilt or stop going over bumps and transition areas, and I rarely have to angle it on two wheels even when rolling uphill on the jetway. It is very maneuverable even down the aisle of an old A320. It saves me from a lot of back and shoulder fatigue. It's extremely sturdy but still light enough that I had no issue with lifting it in the overhead compartment or fear gate-checking it. The rubber corner blocks keep it in place on the shelves of the airport/rental car shuttle, but do not keep it on its wheels in those shuttles or it will roll from side to side. I have had no airline issue (flying domestic) with overhead stowage (Boeing & Airbus), and gate-checked it once. It rolls just fine and relatively quietly on tarmac, too. It keeps everything in place on the inside within each compartment. The removable divider is great to help uniformly compress the clothes on the retractable handle side when used in tandem with the Y-strap. That Y-strap design is excellent and works far better than the plastic snap system in my previous bags. The soft return handles and effortless closing mechanism are also terrific. I had moved away from zipper closure with my previous bag but the closing mechanism of that bag was less than optimal. In contrast, the Level8 closing mechanism is simple, effective, and efficient. Because it doesn't rely on a zipper, it doesn't expand. That hasn't been a problem, even when adding a souvenir 500ml glass bottle on one of the return trips, thanks to the Y-strap compression. I got it in black. It might sound dull but it looks purposeful yet simple, understated and well-built. I added an orange name tag in a shade similar to the Level8 logo and accent details to make it standout just a little. It shows very little scuffing. This bag was worth every penny. It improved my travel experience in more ways than I can include in a review, and I enthusiastically recommend it for frequent travelers.

The build quality is excellent
The Level-8 Carry-on looks stylish, offers an excellent feel with outstanding craftsmanship and overall build quality. I prefer the zipper less clamshell design for quick and easy access. It is slightly heavier than other comparable carry-on suitcases, the straps and interior are built to last. I highly recommend this suitcase.

Sleek and excellent carry on luggage
This bag is anmazing. I got many compliments on its simple yet sleek look. I just used it as a carry on for my latest trip and it didn’t disappoint. I was able to pack 5-days of clothes, my cpap machine, and still had lots of space for the souvenirs I bought during my trip. I like the wet and dry compartment. The Velcro strap to compress the clothes was excellent. The wheels are great and they spin 360 degrees which make it easy to pull around the airport. The wheels are also silent. The bag fits in the overhead bin of the airplane with ease. I highly recommend to anyone needing a quality carry on bag.

Excellent Bag
I travel for a living 36-40 weeks a year. This bag is very well built. Wheels are superior. Capacity is slightly smaller than the hard side Swiss Gear it replaced, but was minor about 1/4 inch. Online reviewers talk about the locks being hard to turn, no they aren't, I found them about standard for any combination lock. It is a little heavier than the Swiss Gear, but this is because of the bag's sturdy construction. It's a good buy for anyone looking for a better than department store bag that won't break the bank.

Good quality but spendy
Great suitcase. Smoothest wheeled case I've ever had. Almost too easy to push as it will run away on you quick! Survived its first biz trip for a week and back without issues. Got a couple compliments on it too...but how much better it is than an Amazon basics suitcase that is similar size is open for debate.

I needed this
I love this suitcase. Perfect size. Can probably pack for a week without issue including two extra pair of shoes. Held up so far with little wear shown. Latches work well and the wheels are smooth. Looks great. Got the blue color and love it.

Best hard frame zipperless suitcase on the market.
Love this Level 8 Zipperless suitcase. After the airline broke my previous carryon (after compelling me to gate check it), I searched for a sturdier non zipper model to be more secure. This was one of the more reasonably priced options, and 9 months later I'm still happy with it. Great functionality, great style, and have gotten compliments from complete strangers in the airport. You won't be disappointed.

Subpar quality
This suitcase displayed severe durability issues after a single round-trip flight. Two zippers failed completely and detached, leaving compartments non-functional. One wheel stuck consistently, making it difficult to maneuver through the airport. The frame and exterior materials showed exaggerated wear and scratches despite minimal handling. A premium-priced suitcase should withstand travel without catastrophic component failure. The fact that the zippers broke after one trip indicates flawed design and poor quality assurance. Wheels are a critical feature for any checked luggage, and the persistent sticking and drag experienced here made the case unreliable and frustrating to use. The rigid frame also lacked resilience, absorbing visible stress marks that should not appear after such limited use. For context, other brands I own at lower or comparable price points — including cases that have lasted over a decade — have not demonstrated this type of immediate breakdown. The performance of this model was disproportionally poor and well below expectations for its price bracket. The core issue is not cosmetic scuffing or typical wear. The failures experienced were structural and functional: broken zippers, defective wheel performance, and material degradation after minimal exposure. These defects make the product untrustworthy for travel, especially given that checked luggage must be reliable under far more demanding conditions than a single domestic flight. The low durability is the central concern. Premium luggage should reflect engineering built for longevity and resilience; instead, this product demonstrated fragility and lack of endurance.

Good quality suitcase.
Well made cases. Not cheap but will last for years. Bought after seeing a YT recommendation. Love the blue colour and the no zip feature. The handle is smoooth to lift and close. The wheels are relativley quiet and run soothy. Worth the money for a frequent traveller.

Happy
2 weeks in Japan, no issues. Love this luggage bag. Glad I splurged for the zipper less version. My other luggage bags always fail at the zipper and I'm always scared to over pack them. Not with this bag. I over fill it, sit on it and it's all good. No issues with the carry on size at multiple airports, was never approached and asked to check it instead. Wheels smooth no issues like I saw in many other reviews. Handles still close slow after lots of use. I was even able to carry it up flights of stairs by the extended handle with a backpack attached to it (not recommended), and never had issues with the extending handle either. Quality matters.
