Works great on mac and windows! Make sure it *clicks* when plugged in.
This was as described, it's small enough to carry around in my bag, all the ports work as described. My only tip for anyone who gets this, make sure the ethernet CLICKS when you plug it in. Several times I have plugged the ethernet in and it went into the port fine, but I was getting no internet service. I jiggled the cable and pushed it in then up (a little) and it clicked. It was automatically registered, and internet service worked fine. Maybe it is common knowledge that the ethernet plug is supposed to CLICK when plugged in to confirm connection, but its news to me.Works great! Would suggest/recommend!

Works great
Allows me to transfer from SD card to my phone. Did need to remove cell phone cover for it to work.

Don't use the USB C on a phone with a case
Works as intended. USB C does not reach when used on a phone with a case.

Love it
The media could not be loaded. I have absolutely no complaints except I wish there was another usb port, but besides that, it does its job well! With heat, i honestly haven’t noticed but to be honest I don’t think it even heats up because the material of it is cold and metallic, size is small enough to be portable. It’s worth buying.

This is a very useful adapter that works with both Mac and PC.
I am a presenter and go from location to location to give my regularly. Each place I go may or may not have the equipment I need to actually present. I bring my own computer and I actually have 2 of them. One is a Mac that my work gives me, but I also bring my personal PC because some of the content I am presenting is not compatible with mac. Both machines only have USB C ports and nothing else. This little adapter make is possible for me to connect to whatever media equipment the location has with either my mac or pc and I can swap between the two computers mid stream if needed. All the audio/visual equipment will still work with both machines within seconds after the swap. I used to have to bring two different adapters, one for each machine and actually swap the adapters, so this is much nicer.

It's...."okay" but...
I plugged my internet-modem- box thingie into it (instead of using wifi for laptop) and the speed SLOWED DOWN considerably, compared to using wifi. WTH, dude, that is NO BUENO.

SLOW
A versatile SD reader in a nice metal case.Pros:- Ability to read SD and uSD cards in a variety of devices via USB-A, USB-C, and micro USB- Additional USB-A jackCons:- The one I received was slow, marginally better than USB-2 (more below)- The one I received would not see both cards when an SD and uSD were both inserted- It has been over a week since the seller was contacted through Amazon, with no replyThe speed was tested to multiple systems, both the USB-A and USB-C plugs were tested, as well as fast SDXC and microSDXC cards. Read speed maxed out at 21MB/s and write at 27MB/s, in all configurations with all cards. By comparison, the USB-2 reader I was looking to replace gets a solid 17MB/s on read and write. Note that the cards were also tested with another reader at over 3X the speeds seen with this reader. Note also that a fast USB-3 flash drive plugged into the jack performed at full speed, so the speed problem seems limited to the SD circuitry. This was bought to provide a much faster replacement for my old USB-2 reader, and it failed at that, yielding 1 star.

It is too thick
The USB C does not work with my phone because my case interferes with the dongle that goes into the phone. Had to get an extension cable.
