You do have to be more careful with these two-pronged removers, however - they easily slip out of the case’s grooves which may cause you to scratch the watch back - but if ease of use is a genuine concern (especially if you’re opening expensive or other people’s watches), then you can always get a three-pronged remover instead which are much more user friendly and remain relatively secure in prong-interval length and have an attached handle that makes it easier to hold/turn. In either case, just make sure the prongs can be narrowed/widened as much as the diameter of your watch back.
