Okay, to be honest, I never really understood how quick connects work or what the big draw was. I had once received a single plastic one with the purchase of a power washer, and I wasn't impressed. And because it was only a single connector, it was always a hassle to screw it off of the hose whenever I wanted to connect the hose to something other than the power washer. This was in the days before you could Google whatever you needed to know, and this cheapo, plastic quick connect was a giant "pass" for me. Recently though, after browsing Amazon, I decided to revisit the idea of quick connectors, and I quickly began to see the appeal. I realized that what I needed was a set of multiple, metal not plastic, quick connects that would work in unison as a system. I had no idea which brand to buy, but I chose these McKillans based on the fact that they are stainless steel and were very highly rated. WOW! These are precision, high quality quick connectors! I now have these quick connects on multiple spigots, hoses, and accessories, where they all work in concert to make life easier. Connecting and disconnecting components is now literally a snap, and happens in the blink of an eye. And because there's no constant screwing and unscrewing, they definitely reduce the wear and tear on my hose ends. They have securely fit on everything I've tried to attach these to, including an old spigot with less than 3 threads. These are very high quality connectors. I've had them for several months now, and every time I use them, I'm impressed all over again. They remain pristine and shiny, the collars slide like a dream, and I've never had even a drip of water from any of them. They are beautifully boxed, with extra washers, and would make a great gift. I'll definitely be buying more. These are a great gift to purchase for yourself as well. They are a treat to use, and are definitely worth more in convenience than the price I paid for them. A huge upgrade! The quality is amazing! I highly recommend these. LOVE!!!

I love these automatic hose adapters. I have them for my pressure washer and my garden hoses now and they are a game changer. First off they work and work very well. I had the brass ones and they do not compare at all. These are so smooth and easy to work with. The automatic feature is great and makes it so much easier to switch attachments. I wish I knew about these before. Ease of use and no leaking at all. Love them and their quality.

Finally a quality quick-connect hose fitting that looks like it will last. Not inexpensive, but much nicer quality than any other similar items I've tried over the years. Worth it for anyone who has a large yard and many hoses!

I bought this after buying a setup for my pressure washer and realized I wanted more quick connections. The quality is good so far but I do have hard water so hoping they hold strong. Nice tight fitting and no leaks. Very happy to get more of the McKillans products.

I've used these for about a year now on my hose bib, hose, spray nozzle, and power washer and have had no issues. No leaks and no sloppy fittings. I'd definitely recommend if you are tired of poor quality quick connects. Obviously a little more pricey than other options, but worth it.

These are the most amazing and unnecessary things I’ve ordered in quite some time. I wish many products were made like these are. The gaskets are engineering grade and there will be no leaks. The fit is so good, they also make an awesome fidget device. lol. I also have no doubt that if I ran them over, there would be zero damage. Amazing, and satisfying at the same time.

Quick connect, along with a stainless steel valve makes my twist to open and close nozzle super easy!

Amazing quality and construction. Won’t even consider going back to other brands. I use these daily for farm chores. Smooth as silk operation, unrestricted water flow, all stainless, no leaks. Have them installed on outdoor frost free water hydrants and for the most part, work great even in -25*C temps. They tend to frost up a little during those temps but quickly free up with a quick warm up with your warm hand on them. Very minor inconvenience considering the environment they are exposed too. Will be purchasing more in the future

Well constructed. I’d suggest greasing the female ends with some Fluid Film or similar, after doing this, the quick release mechanism was much smoother without losing any bite on the male end. As you can see in the video I was able to attach male to female one handed just from a couple sprays of grease. Great product. Would recommend.

Good quality .. great price... these should work great to hook up my hose on the kitchen tap.. In my rental there is no outside hose hook up so really needed a way to have water outside if I needed it...It gets very hot here in the summer..
