I would say yes. The claw will push into the ground, if you are in anything soft. The pulling force on the strap is the concern here. If you were to get the claw on a rock and lift the truck out of a hole and over the hard object, rock or log, that would put quite a bit of stain on the strap. The claw would hold up. I use on a 2500 pulling a trailer. Not problems yet.

Will the strap fit through wheels with small holes like a Sprinter Van?
