Great model in luxury gold, can't complain about the price paid at time. Has good detail, perfect purchase for collectors.

It’s massive!!
I was very surprised at how this car actually ran on my home track. Traditionally Scalextric cars take a bit of fettling before they’ll run smoothly at home. But this was great straight from the box. Looks great too. Thunderbirds was a childhood favourite of mine. I’ve resisted buying one of these but Amazon had it at over half price. So how could I resist. Waiting for the forthcoming Captain Scarlet vehicles now. If they’re as good as this I shall be most happy.

Apart from delivery and the fact that the post office returned the first one I ordered, don’t know why, our grandson loves it.

Great model if you get a good quality version
Very good likeness to the series model. Detail is good, but I did receive one that was faulty which had to be returned. Quality control could be a lot better at Scalextric. Good value for money as got this on offer and if you get one in great condition.

I’m absolutely dumbfounded that Scalextric would consider selling and heavily marketing such an awful product. The car is so tiny, so cheap and completely unusable on a digital track. Not only is it not DPR ready but it’s impossible to manually install a chip given how small it is. Where are the warnings? I bought it for my daughter as shes a huge Harry Potter fan and she was utterly disappointed and upset that it can’t be used given we use Scalextric Arc Pro track. Ultimate ripoff and blight on Scalextric brand. Shame on you for selling such garbage. Photos to compare against recent Ford Scalextric car (which is a great car).
