I love this coat because, it is the perfect coat I was looking for my dog. We are out a lot and he is short hair coat. I love my working dog and I want him to be as comfortable as possible. This coat does that, it keeps my dog warm on cold days.It is designed just as I need it. It covers the kneck, the back and the whole chest. The person who designed it did an outstanding job. Thank you for the great design for my dog I greatly appreciate it. It is lightweight,thick enough to do a great job keep the dog warm and is very easy to put on. I got the XL and fit perfect my dog is medium size 50lbs love the collar incorporated.I highly recommend it.It is as advertised.

The media could not be loaded.  Awsome coat! My small dog's coats usually end up not covering her rear. This almost reaches her tail. I got a small. Her dimensions mostly called for an x-small but the size guide says if in between, size up. I'm sure if I'd gotten the x-small, most of her rear end would've been exposed even though the rest of the coat fit. The neck portion is a little too long but can be folded or if its really cold/rainy it'll sheild her face. The waist cinches, as does the neck. The only potential problem I see (for those who hook the leash to the coat) is with is the material that holds the buckle/D-rings at the neck. It's flimsy & looks like it'll rip with too much use. However, there's a zippered leash hole. My dog isn't too fidgety, so I could get her legs in the sleeves fairly easily but I wish they were just a little longer. Nice material, not sure it would stand up too well in a dryer over time, so I'll probably air dry to avoid shrinkage, just in case. The coat's a little pricey (for me) but I'm very happy w/the purchase.

I would not consider my dog a large in most dog clothes she fits perfect in a medium but for this 26lb Spaniel/terrier a large is perfect! The zip on the back was new for her so it took some getting used to to get into it but the long neck perfectly covers her equally long neck! It is also nicely puffy. Some coats i have found to be too light and some are way too heavy and you cant get the harness on over them. We will have to see how it holds up through the winter with the salt and dirt but as of the first couple you definitely can't find a better alternative for an equal price!

This excellent quality dog coat has been so great for those really cold New England days! The generous filling makes it nice and thick, to provide as much insulation & warmth for your fur-baby as your coat provides to you. The shell is your typical nylon, so it does have some rain/snow resistance to it, and the lining is a super-soft fleece. I was very happy to see that the color is exactly as is shown, because I wanted it to match my girl's leash, collar, and harness (it did). Speaking of harness, I loved the double-lined zipper feature that allowed for her leash to hook to the top of her harness without leaving a gap & thereby preventing a draft from seeping in. The reflective details are 100% reflective material (not cheap, reflective looking paint). The neck of the coat was large and long (we folded it down easily to a perfect length for her), which I thought makes it better able to fit all breeds, and I was very pleased that it also had an elastic drawstring and tension clamp to keep the neck opening close to her body.Now... the reason for 4 stars instead of 5... while it was great that the zipper was the full length of the coat, I do feel that it would be better serving to the "hooman" if it had been placed under, rather than over. I say this because, if your fur-baby is like most, no matter how much of a good boy/girl they are, sitting still for longer than 5 seconds when they're excited to go out is a big ask! Since it is put on feet first & pulled up to close, one little booty wiggle before it's zipped & the coat is off again lol. That's not to say that it can't be put on, it just requires a little bit of arm acrobatics & the need to be quicker than your baby's happy dance. The other thing I would have liked to have had on it, would be a removable hood flap. My babygirl LOVES the snow, but HATES the feel of it melting on her head... Overall, though, I would definitely recommend to those who live in an area who have below freezing or sub-zero winter temps.

While this little doggie coat is very cute, I feel like it's a bad design. Maybe it's intended for a certain kind of dog, but it's not mine. I had a horrible time getting her into it. It zips down the back, and has to be zipped like a jacket, pulling both sides together, and she'd pull her front legs out before I could even get the zipper started. The front half also seems to be bigger than the back. It fits very tightly around her belly, while the front is so big that when she tried to walk her front legs went in and were stuck inside the coat, causing her to fall over. I had to take it off of her before we even left the front steps.

This is a really nice coat. Thick insulation/filling that keeps them very warm; nicely finished stitching and seams (seems very durable). There are four actual "legs" with soft cuffs, so in our view this is for very cold or wet weather. It's a little tricky to put on your dog, especially with a long-haired dog since it takes effort to avoid getting a bunch of fur in the zipper that runs the length of their back. But that's the fault of our dog breed, not the coat's fault. This should keep a dog warm in the coldest of weather! Highly recommended if that's what you need.

I love! Fits perfectly on my beagle

I got this for my elderly German shepherd who gets very cold during the winter. It's easy to put on her and comfortable enough for her to sleep in. The inner layer is soft while the outer shell is water proof as well as provides good protection from wind.

Laut Größentabelle hätte meine Hündin Gr. M benötigt. War zu klein, daher in Gr. L bestellt. Hat ihr nicht gefallen. Ist für einen Hundemantel auch sehr schwer.Dadurch, dass der Reißverschluss oben ist, auch etwas umständlich anzuziehen.Ging wieder zurück.

Meine Hunde haben keine Unterwolle und deshalb müssen Sie bei kaltem und nassem Wetter draußen immer Kleidung tragen. Hierbei aber Kleidung zu finden, die tatsächlich funktionell ist, dabei gut sitzt und richtig wärmt, ist gar nicht so einfach. Zumindest in der bezahlbaren Preisklasse. Diesbezüglich stellt der ASENKU Hundemantel tatsächlich eine positive Überraschung für mich dar. Denn direkt beim Auspacken stellte ich fest, dass er sich von seinem Material und seiner Dicke her wirklich hochwertig, widerstandsfähig und recht dick anfühlt. Die Verarbeitung ist überwiegend ebenfalls gut, nur an einer Stelle an einem der hinteren Reflektoren habe ich einen kleinen Verarbeitungsfehler feststellen können, welchen man jedoch nur bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht.Der Mantel wird mit einem leicht seitlich versetzten Reißverschluss auf dem Rücken geschlossen. Trotzdem hat er im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Modellen einen zusätzlichen, wasserdicht verschweißten Reißverschluss mittig auf dem Rücken, so dass man ein Geschirr darunter anziehen und den Hund daran dann anleinen kann. Das finde ich persönlich immer super wichtig. Außerdem verfügt er auch noch über ein integriertes Halsband mit robustem Steckschnallenverschluss. In dieser Kombination habe ich das bisher noch bei keinem anderen Hundemantel gesehen.Leider habe ich mich durch vorhergehende Rezensionen hier auf dieser Seite, die davon sprachen, dass dieser Mantel angeblich deutlich kleiner ausfallen würde als angegeben, dazu verleiten lassen den Mantel eine Größe größer für meine Hunde zu bestellen. Die von mir somit bestellte Größe L fällt aber definitiv größengerecht, so wie in der Tabelle angegeben, aus und ist somit meinen kleinen Hunden, die zwischen 8 und 9 Kilo wiegen doch ein ganzes Stück zu groß. Zwar kann man den Mantel dank der integrierten Gummizüge noch kleiner einstellen, aber insbesondere an der recht weit geschnittenen Brust und den sehr weit geschnittenen und recht langen vorderen Ärmeln des Mantels. Ist er meinen Hunden wirklich zu groß. Ich würde hier also definitiv dazu raten, den Mantel in der der Tabelle entsprechenden Größe zu bestellen.Das Obermaterial des Mantels fühlt sich sehr robust und wertig an. Ich habe es persönlich noch nicht im Regen getestet, es macht aber tatsächlich einen wasserdichten Eindruck. Zudem ist der Mantel von innen mit einem weichen Fließ gefüttert und ist wirklich gut wärmend.In dieser recht niedrigen Preisklasse bietet der hier bewertete Mantel tatsächlich ein ziemlich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ist auf jeden Fall funktionell, wärmend und vor Regen schützend für den Hund. Deshalb vergebe ich hier volle fünf Sterne insgesamt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
