A must read for parents
Wether your child is a late talker, teenager or a toddler… this is a must read book for every parent… it gives you the idea of age appropriate activities for kids which is less time consuming and helps with parent-child bonding too. And very beneficial for late talkers behaviour analysis and helps the parent to bring up the urge in the kid to speak.

Helpful
Really provides great insight into the developmental issues with kids. And really calms you down as a parent knowing you're not alone. Provides many useful activities that can be performed at home and most importantly emphasizes on importance of connection with your child for his or her development.

Fabulous how to train and develop the minds of children and young people to combat speech problems
It is well known that when there is a significant mental disorder between 3 and 13 years of age, the help of a health professional is necessary but in this exceptional book we find invaluable support to train/develop the minds of individuals between those ages in the best and most effective way and for us future popes it becomes necessary to know more about it. That is why these tools presented by the author give us the possibility of giving our little ones the possibility of living in a more sociable world, starting with the family as the main associator of ideas and natural communicator, providing them with emotional relationships from school, work, children's and youth associations to increase their self-esteem and acceptance. There are also those of us who learned surrounded by recreational activities such as painting, music, crafts, putting together puzzles, figure-building games, sudoku, etc., where you develop mental and motor skills. I would be worried that I wouldn't realize if my child had Einstein syndrome, for example, and not realize it; or major problems such as Autism or more serious dysfunctional disorders, which is why, as I said at the beginning, professional help is needed. However, and finally, dyslexic problems (change of vowels or sounds), stuttering, anxieties, stress, etc., should not escape the timely attention of parents because these disorders in the future would have serious repercussions on the development of the individual. I rescue the way in which the author tells us something that is what all of us, without exception, have counted on since childhood from our parents to develop without problem our speech and emotional mental growth, which is: At those ages "the best way to learn is by playing" . Congratulations on an extraordinary book.

Excellent Resource
This is an excellent handbook to complement going to speech therapy. I learned all about spotting early signs of speech delay and the practical steps you can take to help overcome it. The strategies and activities the author provides are both fun and engaging, and they also promote healthy bonding between parents and their children. The activities are broken down into age-related groups which makes it easy and convenient. You can also modify it to meet their specific needs. I like the tips on effective and encouraging communication with your child and the importance of learning more about what they are going through. Highly recommend.

GREAT book -- HUGE recommend!
“The Parent’s Handbook to Speech Therapy” is an excellent reference book for parents looking for ways to make learning fun. It’s geared to kids who have speech issues, but honestly, these activities are great for any parent and child to do together and can easily be modified to fit the needs of your own child. I like the way the author specifies up to 20 different games for parents to play with their kids, separated by age groups. It’s clear, concise, and very well written. Even if some of these are games you’re already familiar with, finding out what specific skill they teach is very helpful in knowing how they can help your child, besides just being fun and creating rapport. I’ve taught kids for well over half a century, and this book gets 5 stars and a huge recommend!
