It's a toner cartridge.. what else can I say?
It's fine, it works properly, there's free post recycling.Instructions regarding how to remove the old one are a bit pants, but luckily I found a short video from Brother USA on youtube that showed you which bit you're supposed to pull out- not that clear the first time!Otherwise, no alarms and no surprises. It seems to work and will probably last us ages.

Does the trick
There isn't a whole lot to say about this except the print quality is good and you get plenty of pages out of it. It's pretty easy to put into your printer and is good value for money compared to inkjet printers.
