My wife loves fires, so this made an easy Christmas present. The quality is great and it works great, as well. It looks nice, and we haven't had any smoke to speak of. (Using 70% isopropyl.) It was a bit harder to get going than it would probably have been with a more pure alcohol, but I don't fault the fire pit for that.Size is great for the table top and it's perfect for bringing in a little fire when there's snow outside. Great present, wife loves it, and I'm happy!

This fire pit is white, 4 11/16” tall, and 6 ½” at the widest point. The burn chamber is 2” tall, and 3 5/16” wide full of ceramic fiber cotton wick held in by metal wire. There is a metal flame diffuser that sits on top of the burn chamber, and a metal dome flame extinguisher. It also comes with an information and safety card.Well, I don’t know what this pit is made of but it looks like bad pottery. It actually looks like a flower pot even with a hole in the bottom they have covered up with a small round stick on vinyl/rubber patch to protect your furniture. looking at the other reviews, the fire pit I received must be a bad reject. If you look at my pictures, the pit itself looks like the top was broken off and patched back on all the way around between 2-3” up from the bottom and the top (it looks worse than the pictures show). I have to spin the burn chamber around to find the one spot where it will go into the fire pit and will come back out otherwise you really have to work to get it into the fire pit and really have to work to possibly get it back out. Also in the pictures on this Amazon page shows that the top of the burn chamber may come off which makes sense because how are you going to take the wire out and be able to replace the ceramic fiber cotton wick. I’ve tried to take the top off every way possible and it won’t come off without damaging it so I guess when you need to replace the wick, you’re just going to have to rip the metal wire out and replace the wick. You’ve got to think that they all are like this or they knowingly shipped out a reject product.2 stars only!

Ordered this to use outdoors on the patio. Very easy to set up and use. I used regular household alcohol and it was fine. The flame is pretty but it doesn't get very hot. It takes several minutes to cook one marshmallow, so don't plan on making a lot of smores unless you have a lot of free time! To extinguish the flame, you simply drop the cover on top and it instantly goes out.But it's nice for ambiance and it looks pretty outside on the table, and it would be really pretty for a wedding or other outdoor event. Would need to watch its use around children for sure. The price is comparable to other products online, but seems a tad overpriced for the size and for basically being just a decorative item.

This is so awesome!!! We made s'mores indoor easily. We used household alcohol (90%). There was no smoke. It made a great flame, and the marshmallows cooked great. Afterwards, we just used the included cover to put the flame out. It definitely needs supervision with children, but it is well contained. Perfect solution for winter s'mores. I'm sure we will get much use from this indoor fire pit.

I really like this, We have been using alcohol fuel for our fireplaces for years. It puts out a lot of heat , perfect for fall evenings.
