Bought it in blue for my daughter for Christmas. It's beautiful, and utterly charming to see it in person. Looks and feels way better than the pictures allow. It even got passed around, as everyone took turns checking it out on Christmas morning. It's not lightweight, it's solid and made very well - but not overdone. Easy to clean. A great value as a pretty, stainless steel kettle. Splendid & just perfect.

I have never owned a stove-top tea kettle, and my husband wanted one to fill our little ceramic teapot we recently obtained. We had requirements: It had to whistle. I had to have a cap over the pour spout. The cap over the pour spout had to have a finger trigger to open it. It had to be crazy cute / pretty. We toyed with some very functional kettles that were stainless and would blend in with our appliances, pots and pans...and with black ones, that would blend in with our countertops and stove top, beige ones that would blend in with our backsplash - but then decided on one to stand out with pure cuteness and beauty with elegant lines. Cuteness and beauty aside, this teapot is extremely functional and checks all of our boxes as well. We love the safety feature of having the whistle. There are instructions inside for keeping this kettle in tip-top shape and looking beautiful for a very long time. We LOVE it! Great value for the money, as well as beauty and functionality. We got the Elveden Navy one. I want one of each! Recommended!

Lovely, good whistle. Less expensive than some other decorative tea kettles out there. Can turn the label to inside if you don’t want to advertise Laura Ashley.

I hesitated to purchase this product due to negative reviews. However, it is stunningly beautiful. Works very well on my gas stove! It is a very large tea kettle so would not recommend for small stove tops. For best performance fill up to approximately 1 inch or less below pour spout this prevents the need for a pot holder to pour water. Also to avoid damaging kettle sides make sure your kettle is located directly over the open flame and use Med/low setting. This kettle heats fast even on low setting. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely tea kettle....and I wish I had not ordered it. Reasons, it gets hot, really hot and the small area on the handle that is protected is not enough, same for the finger lever to open it to pour. It takes both my hands to use it because of its height I think? I need one oven glove protected hand on the bottom to help tilt it up to pour, while the other oven glove covered hand is on the handle and the pouring lever. I am so very disappointed. I had hoped for beauty and reasonable ease of use.

Kettle is beautiful of course as it is Laura Ashley. I have always loved all Laura Ashley products, but this product misses the mark miserably. The design is extremely poor. Holding the handle and pressing on the spout spring is awkward. My hands can barely pick up the kettle and pour. The height of the kettle itself, coupled with the weight of the water, and the handle design render this product useless. I am sooo disappointed. It is not easy for me to return this so Im just aggravated at this point. I do not recommend you purchase this kettle, especially if you have any issues with your hands, like arthritis or weakness or of your hands are small.

The price is high but it’s a good quality teapot and very pretty.

I thought this would be better quality for $125. The top by the lid is scratched, the silver part by the spout is almost rusty/rough, and one of the floral decals is partly scraped off. It was in a sealed box so I don’t understand how it wasn’t in perfect condition. I definitely would not recommend.

It’s absolutely beautiful, but the handle gets too hot to touch.
