Purina Beyond Turkey and Green Bean in Gravy Natural Grain Free Wet Dog Food with Added Vitamins and Minerals - (Pack of 12) 12.5 oz. Cans

As the cost of quality pet foods has grown alarmingly high, I've abandoned some of my favorite brands for Purina Beyond. The ingredient label tells me that the ingredients are of the same quality I've been paying much more for, and as with more expensive brands, it doesn't have unnatural ingredients. My dog loves it, she gets a variety of flavors, and the affordable cost of it has enabled me to continue feeding her a quality diet.

My dogs enjoy this food!

So far so good. I have been giving my 7 years old baby girl home cooked meals, but wanted to make sure she has a good base. Recently she hasn't wanted her usual kibble, and this coincides with a cancer diagnosis. To whet her appetite, I focused more on the foods she loves, and then began adding in more vegetables. I happened to have a bag of Purina Beyond Organic dry food that when I offered it to her she seemed to like it. So then I decided to use that as a base, add the home cooked foods, then top off with some wet food. I basically want to make sure I am not missing out on anything nutrient wise. She seems to like this wet food. It is chunks with gravy, not a pate. She is on prednisone which has increased her appetite. I give her food in between regular meals to keep her belly happy. I have put some of this into treat toys for her to work on. I haven't totally figured out the best diet for her, but so far the combo of food I have been giving her has been easy on her stomach, has been making good poops, and seems to enjoy it a lot. I have already ordered some other variations from Purina Beyond offerings.

The food is perfectly fine. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because nowhere on the can does it say bits with gravy, so my whole case is useless because my dogs do not like this kind! If I would have saw somewhere that it was.. I would have purchased another kind. I have purchased this brand in chicken, and it was different, like the regular pureed food, which my dogs love.. just be aware this particular can "Turkey n Green Bean" is gravy and chucks of turkey. Would be nice if it was listed on the can as other dog foods have it listed on their cans. But I take the blame for not asking the question on here first? agh!

Loves the ingredients and my dog does too.

My dog scarfs up this food no problem. I was happy with it until I got to the last 2 or 3 cans in the pack. There were significant dents in the cans. Not sure if this was due to shipping / handling or during manufacturing. They seemed to be sealed properly still so I tentatively served my dog a small amount during his dinner (about half the amount I usually give him). The next morning I saw that he had vomited in several places around the house. It was well over the 30 day return window so I just discarded the remaining cans. If you order this pack CHECK ALL THE CANS when they arrive. Overall good product but be advised you might not get to use all the cans you paid for.

My dog is not a big eater, very finicky, but she loves this dog food!

I have picky eaters & my 3 dogs loved this food. I've tried 2 different flavors both were great!
