### ⭐ I bought this for camping task like preparing wood for a fire

I was really exicited about as I did a lot of research before purchasing a $100+ boys axe. I bought this for camping task like preparing wood for a fire. I received this item about a week after I ordered it and before I took it out I loved it. The owners manual is a joy to read, the handle is perfectly crafted and the head is absolutely beautiful and is/was razor sharp. That is where my pros of this axe ends. I took this out for a winter camping trip in December of 2014 in NW Iowa upon trying to split its first piece of wood the edge on the beard of the axe started to maar and deform. Which though disturbing I figured all companies will have a mistake from time to time, surely if I contact them Council Tool will take care of me. Well, I was wrong. I have called them many time and have left them several messages and have used their page to send them emails and have not heard one word from them. I would love to recommend this axe and this company but they will not let me, due to their bad products and horrible customer service.
