I used this to spray the painted rocks my grandson did and it was easy peasy to do. The finish was very smooth and nice. Dried quickly and loved the gloss. I did a lot of research reading reviews on different products and this was the one that stood out to me to be the best. Glad I chose this instead of the other 3 I was pondering on which to buy.

Great for book binding. If you want a really nice finish and feel for covers on home made books, you'll definitely want to be looking for some clear coating sprays like this. It sound's counterintuitive to spray liquid on paper, but it works wonderfully. The hardest part is keeping dust away while spraying multiple coats outside. You'll want to use some other clear coat as well but I always start by coating my covers with a couple coats of this stuff for both UV protection and just gets the ball rolling for the next few coats. But you can follow that up with other stuff. Just stay away from fixatives and varnishes unless that's somehow what you want. But it can be confusing when browsing all the options so, yknow. Krylon 1311 and its glossy counterpart are good but are quite fine mist and might require more coats to build up the coating you want. So I kind of recommend looking for clear krylon colormaxx versions to use in the middle coat to build it up before finishing with the finer mist for quality. On a clear sunny day they should dry almost instantly, at least enough to put another coat on. Maybe a bit longer for the thicker ones. Also worth noting you can mix and match finishes if you want to get particular, like layering a gloss under a thin layer of matte to soften it type beat. I find myself needing 4-6 total coats depending on the desired finish. Sounds like a lot but it's a small surface area and like I said they dry quickly so you can do them fast. I just hold the cover up to the light of the sun to look for imperfections in the sheen and if it's a little splotchy, just do another coat. One last thing, since each individual coat is thinner than most pieces of dust, you can most often pick out the dust after waiting for the previous coat to dry as long as you're vigilant. That's about it, hopefully this information is useful to others trying to figure this out.

I use this, the UV resistant version on small home made solar panels - works very well preventing yellowing of clear epoxy exposed to sunlight. Note to vendor/shipper: I ordered 3 cans but each can was boxed separately. Each box printed " This box uses less paper" so why ship in three boxes ? Paint quality: Good quality clear goes on smoothly, dries fast

I use this for protecting sublimated aluminum license plates/license plate frames and it’s fantastic. Very inexpensive and long lasting, even if I have to apply multiple times to get the right layers, this one bottle lasts me well into multiple projects. I’m not the best at spraying and sometimes I’m a little too close or a little too far to where there’s excess that dries up bubbled before I notice, but that’s user error and not anything on the company. This product is fantastic for a quick fix of UV protectant and I highly highly recommend, but only in a well ventilated area. I have three pugs and their safety and health is my priority so I only spray outside when they aren’t around as it is strong and is also flammable. I typically throw something like foil underneath to catch overspray so I don’t layer on the outside tables I use but again; I highly highly recommend this. Very convenient and great quality for the price. Will absolutely reorder as needed.

Wednesday before Easter🐰🐰🐰 Decided to bring home today. Wow. Rain 3 hrs. after I placed my wreath on a Shepherd's pole in the cemetery. Rain EVERY night., 28° , and god awful wind. I really like this stuff ! $ $ very nice. I sprayed back/front. YES it stinks ! Thank you to the other reviews !!! Left it in the garage for an evening.
