I read mixed reviews and went ahead and ordered the XL. I am glad that I did as it fit like a glove! I am 145 lbs 5'6". You will need to put batteries in, (they have an option to flicker or to stay on or off) you need 6 AA batteries. They are 2 different sets of lights so it takes patience to get them to flicker at the same exact time. (I did not have patience so they alternated) They do have eye and hooks to connect and close the jacket. It sheds like crazy, but it is very cute. Be sure to blow dry and brush it when it arrives as it has traveled to you and needs the extra fluff!
