The lamp is great! It looks incredible and works perfectly! You have to know that when you turn it on it does not start working immediately, a couple of hours must pass for it to reach its maximum performance.

I sadly had a vintage 60s/70s inherited one that was clumsily broken and finally decided to replace it. No complaints, it's smaller but also entirely less likely to set the house on fire. Fun little ambient night light for laying in bed and relaxing after a long day.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased about 40 of these things at $18 bucks a pop and sent them out to friends across the country & Caribbean. They were a hit. They're not TRUE Lava Lamps but a dam good alternative if I may say so myself. I ordered one for myself first for a test run and it has been going strong. The lamp is sturdy, the movement is good, the clear liquid stays clear, the red wax stays red but is slightly bubbly at first. The bulb is easy to find, the box it comes in is very slim and elegant, with the item well packed in bubble wrap inside. Everyone loves them. i might do another color version next year or etc. A great buy for the price.

Works like it’s supposed to. Gets pretty hot after awhile. Wouldn’t recommend leaving on all night.

My older son has a lava lamp, so when my younger son anted one, I decided to look for one that had a red light. This lava lamp was much thinner and shorter than the other lamp I got and it was about the same price. At first I really liked this one because the gloops would make nice little round circles that would float and then sink. But within 2 weeks, some of the gloop material stayed at the top, and then eventually none of the goop moved anymore. It would just sit at the bottom. I know it was working because the light was on for it. I did like the light but I wanted it to work properly, so I returned it

Had these for a few weeks and used nightly. I've owned lava lamps from the old days - 70s-90s - and this smaller version works just the same. Liquid is clear, heats up in about 25m, and the globs of lava flow well and uniquely. I'm ordering two more.

It's okay for the price but color shown in product description is not the same. Appears more orange than deep red. The clear water is much better than most other manufacturers.
