I tried this product because of the reviews. It is easy to use and does a really great job at taking away smells that come from a garbage disposal. Cleans the drains and helps the water flow better. It was a great value for the money.

This disposal cleaner works really well. It smells great and it feels like it is working well because it foams up really well. For the price I pay for the year for the cleaner, it is a really good value. It is way less expensive than it would be at the grocery or big box store. I enjoy it so much that I bought some for my son, too.

I followed the directions and cleaner seems to have worked effectively. One word of warning however. You need to run your disposal until all the foam is gone. My disposal overheated and shut off. Fingers crossed there is a reset button on the disposal. Update, after the disposal cooled down, I found the reset button and it was fine. Just be aware that the disposal does need to run for awhile during the cleaning process, and it can overheat which turns off the disposal.

These tablets did a good job on our disposal. Naturally, food residue can turn into sticky "gunk" in your disposal, especially on the rubber gasket that keeps the splashes of grinding food contained. There can also be a funky smell that develops if you don't rinse your sink with hot water. Being able to have a foaming aid like this to freshen up the whole sink / disposal / pipes area is very helpful to have a better experience in the kitchen.I used two tablets for the first time cleaning. The instructions say after that you can use one a month to keep the clean going. So far, so good at our home. The foaming action and citrus scent was very pronounced, which provided a positive experience during use.

Just used for the first time. Almost no foam - because my disposal was draining just fine, so tablet never got covered in or fully immersed in water. Then : pipes backed up, disposal full of water. Which would not drain. Eventually it drained a bit, but kept re-filling when I ran water, even if running the disposal. Took apart P-trap. Pipe from disposal & to P-trap, and then to J-pipe, were not clogged. I think foam further down the line (pipes in basement) was preventing draining. Then there was an hour or more of run some water, disposal area fills, run disposal - "glugging" sounds and some eventual dripping sounds from within pipes in basement (including an overflow pipe). Eventually draining from kitchen sink was normal, as was disposal. Presumably because water eventually dissolved the foam that clogged the pipes 6-10 feet further down from the P-trap. A very scary hour or two.Edit : I am VERY impressed by the customer service by this company in response to this review.

Such a simple process, and effective. I was away for a week, while my husband stayed home. When I returned there was this unpleasant oder around the kitchen. I finally realized it was the garbage disposal that my husband didn't detect, (he can't smell things much due to a nasal issue). I dropped a tablet into the drain as per instructions, (clearly marked on the package), and voilá! No more smell! I highly recommend them.
