Awesome 14in portable display!
I really enjoy this monitor. It has a 14in display which is FHD 1920x1080. It uses an IPS panel and the colors are very vivid. The screen reminds me of an iPad with a flip cover that allows the monitor to stand on a desk. This monitor is great from adding a second screen you laptop on the go or for your desktop if you don’t have enough room on your desk for a second full sized monitor. It connects via usb c but comes with an adapter for usb c to usb a to allow the monitor to be used if you don’t have a usb c port. Overall I’m very satisfied with the monitor!

good performace and portability
I recently purchased 14 Inch Laptop Monitor and I'm extremely impressed with its performance. The FHD 1080P resolution and IPS display provide sharp, vibrant visuals, making it perfect for both work and entertainment. The USB-C and USB-A connectivity options make it versatile and easy to use with various devices. The portability is a huge plus, allowing me to set up a dual monitor display anywhere. Overall, I highly recommend this portable monitor for anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality secondary display.

Good portable monitor. Excellent customer service. May need some tweaking for Apple users.
G-STORY Portable Monitor 14 Inch ★★★★★(4.5 Stars rounded up) The portable monitor was delivered defected - and promptly replaced with next day shipment! A one-star potential disaster redress by excellent customer service. Plug and play! Out of the box, it seamlessly connects to my Windows laptop, no complicated configurations needed. The lightweight design adds minimal weight as I slip it into my laptop backpack. Its clever design stows the retractable USB-C cable in a small compartment at the rear. While the monitor doesn't deliver a refresh rate high enough for an edge in gaming, it's quite perfect for spreadsheets, charts, videos or browsing. Clarity and color reproduction at 1920 x 1080 are crisp for its size. Con. Couldn't get it to connect to any of my devises in the Apple ecosystem. Need to delve into troubleshooting. I'm certain there is a quick fix, but I feel this should have been included as a note inside the box. Overall, good portable monitor, excellent customer service, may need some tweaking for Apple users.

Doesn't work.
Never got it to work. Would not recommend. Was using it with an Apple Macbook and just did not work. That's the only device I need it for so didn't test it with anything else.

No mini-HDMI, but retractable USB-C
You can check out my video to see how it looks. Keep in mind, this doesn't have mini-HDMI out. Instead, it has a retractable USB-C cable built-in, which makes it convenient to have a dual-monitor setup with a laptop. It has multiple USB-A ports, where you can connect up to four of these monitors too. Four USB 2 input ports, 3 USB 2 output ports. The screen is 14" and the resolution is 1920x1080. The power usage is about 10 watts.

Good travel monitor, but only has USB-c input
I bought two on sale - one for me and one for my wife. My laptop (Samsung) connects flawlessly - plug into one of the usb-c ports and you’re in business. Her Dell didn’t connect as easily. Probably due to being locked down from work. It would not connect until she was on the internet and connected to VPN. Then it finally connected. It includes a couple of adapters, but having an HDMI in would be nice. We did use them a lot on the road and the worked well. The kickstand is a bit flimsy, but with some care it isn’t a problem.

I have found this 14 inch G-Story portable monitor to be easy to use alongside my laptop. It allows me to work a little more efficiently as it provides me to have two screens on at the same time. I can mirror the same set-up that I have with my desk top when away from the office. The screen is very portable and easily fits in my laptop carrier bag. You can see that it comes with it's own integrated stand and effective screen protector. The picture quality is clear and bright enough. It is perfect for office working. For high definition videos and gaming you will lose some details. Overall, for the price this is a decent portable monitor. I definitely don't have any complaints with using it.

Very useful device for travelling. I find it difficult on the go working off a single screen as I'm used to three screens on my desktop setup. The G-STORY screen is of good quality, it's a decent size at 14" and it's got high quality 1080P display. It's simple and easy to setup, it was an automatically retracting cable for connecting to the laptop and it doesn't require any independent power supply so runs off your laptop battery. Price point is fair and reasonable, quality is good and for me it's a great way to improve productivity when travelling.

So far I had it working ok on windows 10, but i dont use windows I use linux, which it supposedly supports. I did eventually get it working on android, where it will just act as a mirror display rather than an actual second screen you can use. To get it working on android you need to get a USB-C adapter to plug in the usb stick that comes with the box, which contains the drivers for windows (not needed anyway), mac, and android. The android drivers are very buggy and 2 years old, crashed regularly and stayed open in the background after using it, until the device was rebooted. The app that acts as the driver is also completely in chinese. For linux, on my Mint Cinnamon 21.3 (Ubuntu 22.04) I was sent a driver by support. This driver says it only works on ubuntu. However I assume that is plain standard ubuntu and not any ubuntu based distro because on Mint it simply refused to install properly, seemingly after the installer detecting it was "linuxmint" rather than "ubuntu", and despite all the dependencies being fine. Step 2 in the product page says "download relevant driver" and lists android against that. What it doesn't tell you is the drivers are on the usb stick you get in the box (which the instructions do not mention at all other than a single diagram which says its "OTG". The instructions are pretty useless. The location of the power and volume buttons could not be in a more badly designed place, literally on the bottom edge of the screen that the screen actually sits on. I emailed support again and they have passed my linux issue on to a tech dept, but I am not holding my breath for a resolution. What do I like about it? Well it is quite lightweight (despite the awkward big chunk of plastic sticking out the back which the retractable usb cable plugs into). That's about it since the buttons are poorly designed, the instructions are useless, it doesn't function as a second screen on android (just a mirror), the android app is old, crashes and all in chinese, and won't work on linux at all, even on the most popular ubuntu based distro.

This is a superb external monitor for use when out and about. The unit itself is extremely light, and it's amazingly easy to connect to a Windows 11 laptop. I have a Yoga 6, I plugged this monitor into the USB C port and I was off and running - the screen showed one of my windows desktops. I right clicked on the desktop to take display settings, identified the screens, shuffled them around until the layout on screen relected my physical layout, clicked OK, and I was able to open programs / copy and paste between windows and everything else you'd expect of a multi monitor setup. I also tried it on a mini-PC and it worked well from the USB C port of that device, so if push comes to shove, I can take a ridiculously pwerful PC out on the road with me and not worry about the hotel room in which I stay having a TV that can be used as a monitor. The cover of the monitor is a nice looking black sleeve that allows you to take full advantage of the fact that connectvity is so flexible - you can feed the output cable from left, right or above. It's a bit weird that they used self adhesive strips to fasten the cover to the monitor, given that they have VESA mountability at the back which is compromised by the cover, but I teased the cover off and just put a couple of strips of self adhesive velcro on the back - loops on the cover, hooks on the back ofd the monitor so now it's very easy to detach and re-attach the cover. It's disappointing that it doesn't work with IOS, but I knew that when I sent off for the product. If it ever becomes feasible to use it with IOS, I'll be an EXTREMELY happy person, but for now it does everything I expected of it and more. Very happy to recommend it.
