Great knife
I’ve carried a pocketknife all of my life, even through school days, which would get you arrested these days so don’t do that. I like the Case sod Buster for its quality and price. It’s a working man’s knife, small everyday things. I use it in the garden, to cut string, rope, open letters and boxes etc. it’s small enough to be comfortable in your pocket. I give my knife away to young men from time to time because I think a guy should have his own knife. Maybe granddad’s don’t do that anymore. I took my grandson to pick out his first knife at the hardware store, it was a memory making moment. He picked a Sodbuster Jr. Just like old Pop. Little history here: the slip joint knife has been around going back to Roman soldiers. It’s sometimes called a peasants knife, a pastor’s knife, or in the last 80 years, a Sodbuster (a term for farmers). Case builds it solid and sharp and it’s cheap to replace if you lose it (or give it away).

Classic Design...
These Sodbuster & Sodbuster Jr knives have been in the Case line up of knives for many decades back into the 20th century even. I know my great granddad carried one as did my granddad, and dad. it rides well in a pocket, it's easy to find a sheath or scabbard for, and it fits your hand well. Case knives are legendary, with excellent sharp blades straight from the box, and easy to maintain that keen edge for many years. These knives last, and will be a generational heirloom, passed down.
