Great book with good tips and ideas. The only negative comment I would make is the printing/paper is not a good quality.

Typical Hoppen style...few properties used. The book shows the same rooms on multiple pages from different angles. This is the same stuff regenerated into a new book, no new ideas. I'm not a fan.

I love Kelly Hoppen's decorating style and this book helps give me ideas about how to decorate my home. We also use it as a coffee table book.

This is an impressive and instructive decorating book that looks lovely on your coffee table too. I enjoy its luxuriously thick pages with stunningly staged decors (the ribbon bookmark is also a nice touch). I have always been especially drawn to Kelly Hoppen’s designs, and this book accomplishes being inspirational while also imparting easy-to-follow advice.I find I pick this book up sporadically to read a few pages here and there and thumb through the pictures often, because it’s too much to read and take in all at once. I savour each time I pick it up and read a few more pages, as it helps me to look at my home’s spaces with a different mindset. It inspires you to come up with decorating ideas that will honour a specific space or room’s utility but also bring cohesiveness to your home’s overall décor.If Kelly Hoppen’s decorating style suits someone’s taste, I think this book would make a lovely housewarming gift too. I just love the simplicity and symmetry found in Hoppen’s décor groupings, the tasteful colours (taupes, whites, woods, greys, blacks and golds) and overall styling choices that make spaces feel welcoming, yet sophistacted and simply amazing. I would love for Kelly Hoppen to come style my home, but since that’s not going to happen anytime soon, I’ll have to settle for gleaning all the advice I can from her décor books. If you love home décor, don’t hesitate to treat yourself to this book!

Great book. If you are stuck on how to even start decorating a room/house then this book gets you on the right track. Takes you through step by step so that the whole task doesn't become too overwhelming. We have just extended our house so this book tells you where to start (hallway) and how to start making connections with other rooms. Her design style isn't my taste, too beige and hotel foyer for my liking. The illustration are of her past clients houses so no expense spared. However she refers to them from a design perspective and shows how she has put theory into practise. She doesn't tell you what colours to use but more how to use them. Fab book, found myself reading it page to page rather than as a reference book.

Kelly Hoppen steht auf elegant, ruhige Töne-Luxus und Entspannung. Sehr schöne Ideen und auch schon Kleinigkeiten, die den Räumen ein neues Flair geben,kann man hier leicht finden.

Pour les fans de décoration d'intérieur où tous ceux qui ont un projet d'acquisition ou de rénovation. L'ouvrage est très bien construit, du plan à la réalisation finale, y compris la décoration. KH partage ses secrets et son carnet d'adresse. Le tout excellemment bien illustré et photographié. Un cours de "project management" et de design sans comparaison. Pour celles et ceux dont l'anglais n'est pas la force, ne soyez pas découragé. Les textes sont simples et si jamais, il y a toujours "google translator". Si je ne devais retenir qu'un seul des ouvrages publiés par KH, je prendrais sans hésitation ce volume.
