Honestly it really helped to how to shade, but the first few pages are really good but the lessons kind of get worse and worse, like it goes from 3d shapes to a 2d snowflake :/ but overall its okay 4/5

I’m learning to pencil draw. This book to ought me a lot to do shading and shapes at various project. I really enjoyed learning from it and would recommend it to anyone.

We have two sisters among our grandchildren, who are budding artists. Purchased several books about learning to draw basics for them to share with the one on drawing flowers, advance to Drawing animals, and now people and faces. The processes shown have guided them into doing much more. A great beginning for those interested in drawing art

Got this as a Christmas gift for my nephew who enjoys drawing. Since the Pandemic, it's been difficult for him to have a creative outlet. This fit the bill nicely! I can't wait to see what he sends me!

Some nice step-by-step images to practice with, but the next image bleeds through the practice pages (see pic). So I feel like I have to purchase a pad of blank pages to avoid having distracting markings coming thru from the other side. Also, it’s just a book of images to copy, without any instructions on, say, how to draw in perspective.
