Is the adhesive suitable for very thin skin - normal plasters can pull my skin off. Will they withstand a shower?

I don’t have thin skin but it hurt a ton to take off! Really sticks to you and leaves a mark when trying to pull off, I ended up soaking it with warm water to get it off painlessly. That said, it did withstand a shower if I didn’t touch it. I wouldn’t recommend it for thin skin.

It says "apply shiny side to wound" but both sides are shiny? Does it matter?

The dressings used to be produced with just one shiny side so it mattered which way up they were applied. However, now they are produced shiny on both sides so it can be applied either way.
