Looking at the colour of the pots I didn't think I had been sent the right colours, as they looked so different, but there perfect, come out nice and bright

The colours are nothing like the photo or videos I’ve watched on YouTube. I’m a beginner with dipping powder and using fake nails to practice on maybe the reason I’m not getting results. You will need 100% acetone remover in your order which I missed, my fault didn’t do research. The instructions that come with it are useless. Jars are small but are full, don’t know if powder is good quality nothing to go by.

After using this brand starter kit and finishing the 1 colour I had tried I decided to buy this pack, th colour are vibrant and you really can change the look of the colours depending on the layers you use.

This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.Firstly, it’s not entirely clear that you will need extra items (base coat, and top coat), to actually be able to use the kit, so I wouldn’t say that it is beginner-friendly.There are a nice range of colours to choose from, and each pot is full to the brim of powder (I recommend being careful when opening - it’s a fine dust that makes a mess quickly when spilled!). You also get a couple of nail files, which are handy if you need them.I found it easy enough to coat my nails (after applying base layer varnish), though I felt it was better to just dip them in the powder pot, than trying to use the included tray - it’s too shallow. Cleaning off any excess was a cinch, with the soft brush. I then applied the top coat, which did not move the powder around, and left a subtly sparkly finish.Overall, a good set, but could have been better when complete.

Nice kit, which I haven't yet been able to use as it doesn't actually come with the base/top coat or activator. Maybe I should have read the description more thoroughly but it isn't particularly clear.

Whilst this calls itself a starter kit, it doesn’t actually contain all you need so if buying this as a first kit it’s a bit unusable until you purchase base, top coats etc. colours are good and instructions easy to follow. Just needs to be clearer what you actually receive.

I was really excited to try Dip Powder. I have been doing my own gel nails and was eager to try something new with Dip. When this kit labeled a "Dip Powder Starter Kit" came up on my feed, I threw it in my cart. But this is Not a Starter Kit, this is JUST powders. 6 powders. Six powders with No Activator, No Base, No Top Coat... Nothing. But. Powder. This is Not a Starter Kit at all. Dip powder kits need liquid products to work. :-(Almost - every - other- Starter Kit includes at least the base, top coat AND activator (if not an activator saver); many at this same price, if not cheaper. :-( With just powder, there is no way for a "starter" or "beginner" to use this kit because without any of the necessary base, topper and/or activator liquids, there's nothing that can be done with just dip powder.So.... if you already have a Dip Kit and want to try new colors, maybe give this a try - some of the powder colors are pretty -- otherwise, keep looking for a true and comprehensive Starter Kit.Disappointing. I'm sorry I picked this and would Not recommend it. Hope this helps!
