Works well in small or medium sized venues
We use this system weekly for gigs at small to medium-sized venues. They have been reliable and offer a decent way to get into in-ear monitoring for little money. Build quality is solid and the receivers are compact and solid feeling even though they are plastic. Batteries seem to last a good while and the range has been fine with the transmitter placed on stage. At times there is a noticeable drop-out of signal but it is only for 1 second or less. It seems to coincide with when the limiter kicks in. Managing your levels hitting the transmitter seems to help avoid this issue. There's plenty of volume with the receiver packs when paired with good earbuds. Don't bother using the ones that come with the unit. They are terrible and should not be used not even for emergencies. Invest in custom ear monitors or get some sub $100 universal earbuds and you'll be happy. We are a professional band that works 5-7 gigs a month. If you are a touring band with a decent budget you should spring for the Sennheiser or Shure pro IEM setups for no-nonsense reliability and peace of mind.

I love Debra
The media could not be loaded. The set up for this Debra ER-102 is very simple. Perfect for first time user! The signal transmission is stable and the sound is very clear. I did encounter a bit signal interference, but problem solved when I adjusted the frequency. Everything is so simple! If you want a better sound quality, you can use better headphones, just my personal advice... very satisfied with this product for this price!

Is it worth it? Maybe, with new earbuds.
We have a 3 piece band and wanted to try using IEM's instead of monitor wedges for live performances. I ordered these, to see if they were any good. So they seem to be okay as far as setup goes. Nice build quality. I have only tested them, to date, in my home studio and I can say without any doubt that the earbuds are HORRIBLE. These things would probably be the same quality as a $9.99 pair you get at the store while in the check out line. Terrible! My first impression was that this system is horrible. The sound was extremely high pitched with treble... no bass at all. It sounded terrible. It sounded like a cheap little radio speaker. I tested the receiver using my studio headphones, which have a 3.5mm plug in addition to 1/4in. The sound was actually pretty nice! THROW THE EARBUDS IN THE GARBAGE. Plan on buying a good pair of earbuds with a 3.5mm plug. You'll spend between $65.00 to $125.00 on them but it will be worth it.So is this worth is as it comes out of the box? NO. Absolutely not. It's a starter setup that needs earbuds. So once you buy earbuds...you'll add another $300.00 to $400.00 to price. Are the ones for a couple hundred bucks better? Probably not. I imagine, unless you're going to spend over $1,400.00 on a set...you'll probably need to upgrade all of the earbuds.

Good Price Simple but Efficient
We Paid near to nothing for this and it is effective and helps our musicians at the church hear themselves we’ll probably upgrade in a year or two but these could carry us for years

Interference
First the value for the money is great! With the ability to buy more packs and add is great! However, we have 10 shure mics and this thing interfere with them terribly. I literally have to cut off at least 2 mics in order for me to use then which doesn’t work for us.

EQ YOUR SOUND!!!
These are great price wise, but there's no denying you are missing out on quite a bit of audio, especially in the bass regions. HOWEVER - make if you have a way to EQ your output signal without it ruining your audience's audio, this is very much worth it. Any frequencies you feel are missing, all you have to do is turn it up some, then suddenly this issue disappearsPros:PriceLooks and feels professionalNo noticeable delayBattery lifeCons:Audio qualityVery bright (personal pet peeve)Definitely worth considering, however if you have the money to, Shure and Sennheiser have a great reputation for a reason
