In the description farther down in the add it states that this pillow case fabric is "mainly" silk. That tells me that the fabric is a blend. Most likely blended with polyester. So given the low momme coupled with the fact that it is not 100% silk = cheaper price. When it comes to silk pillow cases you get what you pay for. Better to pay more and get at the very least 22 momme mulberry silk.
