I think the original spring was installed incorrectly as it broke by rubbing the frame. New spring fit right in with a good pair of needle nose pliers. Recliner works like new, Great fix!!

I bought it in 2020 and was the exact match of what I had on our recliner. The original spring broke after 3 years. The replacement was installed in 2020 and is still good as of 2025. Perfect fit and work just as the original from the chair manufacturer. I highly recommend it. Money well spent!

This item replaced a broken spring in on my recliner that controlled the up and down motion of the foot rest. I thought it would be impossible to find a replacement and wasn’t sure I could install it if I found one. Bingo, large assortment on Amazon. Took measurements, found the correct size and ordered. Wasn’t too tough to install and works perfectly.

This spring is the one that always breaks on our recliners, so we ordered a few so that when it breaks we can just put a new one one and the chair is fixed and we can recline again in our recliners

Doesn't seem as strong as the factory spring which is just as well because stretching this to fit in the chair was not easy

Had to use pliers, took a few tries but only took about 5 minutes, perfect fit and now the chair reclines as it should. The smaller hook broke off of the original spring and the footrest would randomly pop open, now it works as it should.
