Makes a great gift for the cat lovers

Paint job and material are both pretty good. Excellent, I'd say.The problem:The bottom of the porcelain pieces (cups and the carafe) all had very sharp, jagged blemishes. I caught it just in time before using. The sharp "bumps" was enough to cut lines into wood table. Like someone used a sharp knife and dragged it across a piece of fine wood furniture.Damn!Took the cup and the carafe to the garage and used a 300 grit hand sander and sanded the bottom for about 2 minutes a piece. Washed. Now the bottom is smooth as baby's bottom. Just the way it should be. No more scratchy blemishes that damage the wood.But, heck, shouldn't the product be QC'ed and checked before being shipped/sold??That's why I am giving a 4-star, a full 1 point deduction from otherwise a 5-star item. Especially for the pricing, it's good for the money worthy of 5 stars.. BUT, you'd cry a river when your nice looking wood furniture gets cut by this dumb piece of ceramic.Check the bottom!!! Check before putting it to use!!!(and have a 300 grit sand paper ready.)Thank you!P.S.Did not affect the taste of sake. ;-)

Absolutely gorgeous set for a great affordable price. Most of sets like those are at least 5 to 10 times more expensive and have same quality. I’m very happy with my purchase.

A decent set for a low price. The base of the items was a little rough, but a few minutes with a little sandpaper smoothed them out adequately.

This set is like a dummy/play sake set. The jar will likely 4 sips of sake and the each cup one sip of sake, they are that tiny. The quality is really cheap looking too. One of the cups had stains, like some of the paint had smudged off. $20 down the drain.
