Yes, it works well! I think that it directs the heat close to 3-4 feet. It was 40 degrees last night and we didn’t even need a jacket around the fire! The soot on the diffuser when using pellets is AWFUL! And, I filled mine just below the top interior vent holes (as per the manual), and only received about 45 minutes of warmth. Plus, you’re not supposed to add pellets while it’s burning. But, regular pizza oven firewood gives heat for as long as you want and produces far less soot. The soot from pellets is difficult to wash off of your hands and clothes. My recommendation? Use wood!! Yes, I recommend this product.

We’ve had this heat diffuser for a while now and it really really does a great job of pushing the heat from the solar stove to the surrounding area. You can clearly feel heat coming off from about 4-5 feet away, opposed to one or 2 feet without it. The build quality is good, the pieces snapped together tightly and securely. I don’t think this is meant to be something that you disassemble often however, it works great for our purposes, even with the heat diffuser on you are able to roast marshmallows, with something very important to the kids on our end. Overall, we’re very satisfied with his product.

The deflector is a great additional accessory for my Solo Stove Mesa XL. It’s super easy to assemble, not too bulky or heavy, and it distributes heat really well. I also like that it’s easy to add wood or pellets even with it on. Definitely a solid upgrade for the Mesa XL setup.

Great accessory. My only complaint is that the legs don’t snap into the body of the fire pit all the way after using it a few times

Perfect fit. Performance as stated. Note, I'm using this item on a non Solo table top fire pit. Also note, this is for a Solo Mesa, NOT the Solo Mesa XL. My stove is 5 inches in diameter, outside edge to edge. It burns for about 1 hour when filled with wood pellets. I paid about $19 for my fire pit.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Habe den Wärmeverteiler nicht für den Mesa XL, sondern für meinen Campfire gekauft – und er passt dort hervorragend. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist wirklich hervorragend und der Aufsatz sitzt bombensicher. Keine Sorge, dass er runterfällt – sehr stabil und sicher. Der Preis ist für die hochwertige Qualität völlig gerechtfertigt. Das ist die Investition wert, und ich würde mir auf keinen Fall eine billige Fälschung für ein paar Euro weniger kaufen. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil wenn man ihn mit dem Campfire nutzt: Der Ring lässt sich auch einzeln nutzen, wenn man den Kochtopf-Aufsatz gerade nicht braucht und ihn nur als Ambiente Feuer nutzt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und kann es wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
