This is a book written by a pilot for pilots. You feel like sitting in the cockpit even closer than in Turcat's excellent book. A must to be read for Concorde fans ! Fernand Carrel (former fighter- and testpilot)

Da appassionato di aviazione civile non potevo perdere un libro del genere. Una infarinatura (molto infarinatura) di come funziona il Concorde me la sono fatta anni fa su flight simulator, quindi gli aspetti della condotta del volo non mi erano sconosciuti. Ho trovato veramente affascinante tutta la storia del processo al Concorde in seguito all'incidente del 25 luglio 2000, raccontata da chi la ha vissuta sulla propria pelle (il Comandante Mike Bannister, capo pilota Concorde). Un libro da leggere tutto d'un fiato (e sicuramente lo rileggerò), scritto in un inglese molto comprensibile, al punto tale che dispiace che sia finito.
