Excellent, compact, and conveniently portable!
This is my third internet radio, and my second Ocean Digital (a WR-10 has been my stereo cable-connected tuner for several years), and is now the one I use the most. I do have to press a button to power it on each time, but I keep it USB-cable-connected full time to my Intel NUC and can take it all over my home. I has plenty of features and handy controls, though after 6 months I haven't figured out how to -or whether I can- get the screen to stay on in this USB-connected way, but it seems to go into a sleep state. No, I haven't tried hard or at all because I've just needed the portability and it all works fine that way. The remote, though, does work great for desktop use too. And, oh yes, I have been able to find and store virtually any national and international music and sports station (talk shows only, because games tend to be blacked-out by each network) I've searched, and each sounds great for such a compact unit and speaker. The WR-330 is selling for the same $85 that I paid in April and I do recommend this reliable radio.

Dead on arrival
This radio was dead on arrival ! It was given as a gift and was very embarrassing. Obvious poor quality control.

Easy to operate, after playing around with it.
Like the great sound, also there is so many stations to listen to. Good little radio.

Great Radio with some minor issues
This is a pretty amazing radio that at first I did not like it because I was controlling it from the Radio it's self but when I started using the remote to control it I started to really like it and have been using it a lot since I got it. It has good sound quality from the built in speaker, and the "Subwoofer" feature does not really add any BASS, it just maybe gives you an impression of BASS if you are holding the radio in your had and you feel the audio in your hand. When hooked to a Stereo system via the head phone jack it sounds great, maybe not Audiophile quality like a good brand name audio receiver like Denon, but good sound for the price although I wish it had a line out as well since Line out is better quality because it's un altered line level audio out. Also I wish it had line out in the back and the head phone jack in the front or maybe have an option in settings that you could set the audio out jack to either Line Out Level or variable volume head head phone mode. Once I got used to controlling it it's gotten easy to operate. Many people complain about the search feature but I don't have a problem wit it if I use the remote because it's like texting on a non smart phone cell phone and how else would you do a search without a QWERTY Keyboard style remote? I touch screen would be annoying for how small the screen is and if it had a larger screen it would be larger and not very portable. It's kind of a Hybrid Table Top / Portable Radio, while it's not a "Pocket Radio" it is still portable because of the carrying handle. The FM Radio is pretty good, not great but not bad either, it does a good job of receiving strong to fairly strong stations if you move it and the antenna around to get weaker stations and luckily has manual tune option, unfortunately there is no option to punch in the frequencies directly via the number pad on the remote but at least you can press the left and right arrows on the remote and front panel of the radio to manually tune in stations. It's cool that it has a search history in the search option and a history of the last 99 stations you have listened to. I like how through the WEB interface you can edit the names of your Favorites. The FM Radio Presets option is kind of dumb because it will only ad FM Station Presets as Presets when you do a auto scan, but when later on after doing a auto scan any FM Stations get added as Favorites and I wish it had any FM Station saved to be saved as a Preset so when you are in FM Radio Mode you only get FM Station Presets and when in Internet Radio Mode only get Internet Radio Station Favorites. The Bluetooth mode makes no sense, it should be a Bluetooth Transmitter so you can use Wireless head phones, Truly Wireless Ear Buds or a high quality Stereo Bluetooth Speaker System or stereo Receiver system with a Bluetooth Receiver in it, why would you want t listen to an audio device on that small mono speaker? I like how it has a rechargeable battery in it but wish it was user replaceable without have to open the radio voiding the warranty. Speaking of the battery, it seems the firmware has a bug in it where it will think the battery is low and power off the radio but if you turn it back on it will show the battery about half full and play for several hours after that as if it's power management is buggy and it has problems predicting how long the battery will last on a charge or maybe it needs a few full charges and discharges to get a accurate reading of the battery life. It would be nice if it had a USB C connection instead of a Micro USB, but it's not a deal breaker. Also a SD Memory Card slot would have been nice. I wish it had a line out on the back and 4 quick access Favorites Buttons on the front like the WR-336N but all in all it's still a great radio and much better than the other brands of Internet Radios out there except for maybe the Choyong LC90 , but that is a $250 multi band Internet Radio and this WR-330 will tide me over until I can afford the Choyong LC90 or wait for the next Choyong radio to came out that is a follow up to the Choyong LC90 that will fix the SSB Band Issue. The WR-860 would probably be a good Table Top / Clock radio and the WR-50 a good component stereo system device. This is a good budget friendly Internet Radio that is portable and Table Top clock radio(It has a Snooze function) and travel Clock Radio. All around I'm very happy with the radio aside it's few issues.

Initial Review - Ocean Digital WR-330 WI-FI Portable Radio
Was looking forward to receipt of radio but after using it I am less that impressed. Here is my initial review. 1.) Drops Wi-Fi signal – need to turn radio off and then back on to establish connection again. None of my other devices have this problem. 2.) Remote does not function properly – the power button will not turn radio on and will turn radio off sometimes. The sleep button may or may not work upon pressing. Device response to remote is extremely slow. Tested batteries to see if they were weak but the test at 1.6 volts. 3.) Battery holding charge – battery appears to power the radio for about 4 hours. That is less than I expected, and the battery will only become less capable as time goes on. That would not be a concern, but the battery cannot be replaced. 4.) USB charging port seems to be finicky, sometimes I need to remove and re-insert to get a connection to charge the radio. 5.) The antenna was covered in some type of sticky substance that could only be removed with Goo Off. When purchasing on Amazon I saw that this radio was first offered on Amazon in September 2023 and listed as “new” release. But when I went to the Ocean Digital website to get the manual in digital format it did not appear under “current” products. Scrolling down the page I found the model number listed under “previous” Ocean Digital products. This makes me wonder if this is an older model radio; older inventory being sold on Amazon and is this why the battery does not seem to power the radio for a decent amount of time. The sound of the radio is decent for its small size. The carrying strap (why I purchased this model) is a plus when moving the radio from room to room. I gave the radio 3 stars because of the sound, size, and portability. But I am thinking I will return the radio because of the issues I have outlined above.

worked well for the first week, then the radio would not hold a charge.

Gracias.
