8bitdo makes great products and this charging base is no different. It does its job well and feels like a high quality device. The light is bright in the dark, so if you sleep in the same room as this I would take your controller off of it at night.

Very nice dock. Don't forget that the battery and the cover are tucked away in the storage under the dock. You can also store your old rechargeable battery in the bottom storage after switching to the one that lets you use the controller with the dock.

Great looking stand. It matches really well with my phantom white Xbox controller.Charging wise it's working well. Haven't got chance to test battery life but don't expect it's having any concerns

When I opened the box I was confused at first because I didn't see the battery or the included backing for the controller. After taking a closer look I realized there was a storage area build into the charging stand.The charging station is great. Looks sleek and matches my Ghost Cipher controller really well. Overall very happy with the purchase. I don't have to worry about batteries anymore, which is nice.

Nice little dock. It's a great way to display your controller and keep it charged. There's a convenient compartment in the back that can hold the extra battery compartment cover and/or spare cables. One downside is the inability to turn the light off, though it's not too bright even in a dark room.

The dock is simple which is a good thing. It comes with a USB A to USB C cable that plugs directly into your console or PC from the dock, but if you'd rather keep your dock somewhere that isn't close to your console then a power brick will still work. Installing the battery is straight forward and the battery cover is almost indistinguishable from the cover that comes with your controller. The only noticeable difference are the 3 metal pieces that contact the dock so that it can charge.The only potential downside that I can find with the dock is that there isn't an option to turn off the charging light entirely. You can adjust the light to be bright or dim, but that's it. Luckily, it's a soft glow so it doesn't bother me, but others may feel differently.

I picked up this dock to charge my Xbox One controller for my computer. It's 8BitDo, so everything fits perfectly, the battery door matches the color of the controller, and the battery charges relatively quick. The base itself, while it looks black, it's actually more of a smoked clear plastic. The only issue is when the dock has power, there is an LED that glows orange when charging, or white when charged. It's not that bad when you have it hooked to a computer, because it will turn off when the computer is off. But, if you have this in a living room or bedroom, it can be bright...especially when the lights are off.Still a a great purchase, and it keeps the controller charged and not buried on my desk!
