If you’re gonna buy a Magicyoyo, I would pick one of these up. It has a nice weight, binds like a charm, very minimal vibe, and the shape makes it easy to catch on the string. It is slightly undersized as you can kind of see next to the Duncan Grasshopper GTX, which is perfect for me because I have small hands. It’s super fun to throw. You’re gonna get your money’s worth. I got this for my 9 year old son for his birthday. He is learning tricks but he needed an unresponsive yo-yo to do a DNA trick which he is able to do now. He loves his yoyo

I've reviewed some other MagicYoyo brand yoyo's and was happy to see this one pop up in the feed! I admit, I am a fan of Magicyoyo, aluminum yoyos as they've always had consistent quality, durability, and finish. They also have quite a variety of nice yoyo's and they usually include some decent extras, as well as lots of strings and a carrying pouch or soft container with their yoyo kits.This is a Pro level yoyo. It's not for beginners! (unless, you're feeling very adventurous and simply want to learn some advanced yoyo techniques from scratch with no previous experience!)I'd say I'm an intermediate yoyo player so this yoyo wasn't too much of a stretch for me. In addition to the very well made aluminum yoyo, the kit comes with a nice zippered carrying case that is very durable. This is the standard round clamshell case they the include with many of their other yoyo's (at the time of writing this review!) You also get a black yoyo glove. The kind without the third and pinky finger. This makes it a bit easier on your fingers when you're playing as it protects your hand, and especially your yoyoing finger, from the string and it also keeps your sweat from causing the yoyo to stick to too much. The glove is for adult sized hands. The kit also includes a package of 12 yoyo strings for when one wears out. Finally, the yoyo has a unresponsive bearing installed, which is essentially a bearing with a concave surface which encourages the string to stay exactly centered between the two silicone catch pads. This is where the term "unresponsive" comes into play. When you throw the yoyo, it will stay at the bottom of the string and spin for a very long time because the string is in the middle, it does not touch the sides of the pads and does not 'catch' and return to your hand. You can flick your wrist till the cows come home, and the yoyo will simply sit there and spin until it eventually stops. So you will need to learn how to do a bind to get the yoyo to return. This is intentional! Remember you're buying an unresponsive yoyo for intermediate and advanced play!The only negative to this kit is that it does not come with a bearing removal tool. This is the small pin like tool you use to pry the bearing out when you wish to swap to a new bearing. Considering that this yoyo does not come with a replacement bearing, It's really not much of a drawback.In conclusion, this is an excellent yoyo, with a decent bearing, the machining is top quality, as are all of Magicyoyo's aluminum choices. I love the anodizing, the colour is quite unique compared to the others I have. Emerald green and Violet. An odd combination, but a truly nice looking yoyo. I also like that this yoyo has been machined very smooth, unlike my other aluminum one that has faceted faces. This one seems more refined. Finally, on the style front, this yoyo has been machined for finger tricks! There is a decent smooth, cone shaped indent on sides for you to do horizontal finger spins. I admit, that's an advanced technique I haven't master yet. Great yoyo, from a really good manufacturer. You can't go wrong with this one, especially if you're ready to up your yoyo play to something more advanced.

This yo-yo is incredible at several play styles. 1a, 3A and 5a yo-yoing. You really get an amazing yoyo for cheap. I collect yo-yos and it plays as good as many yo-yos three times the price.
