I was actually impressed with this sander as it comes with different attachments tho only thing I found was I could get into small places but other than that would recommend

This multipurpose sander comes with multiple sheets of sandpaper and different sander attachments. The instructions that came with it were relatively simple and easy to follow.The sander feels quite sturdy, not cheaply made. It's not as heavy as some sanders I've previously used, which makes using it a bit less strenuous.You can use both Velcro sanding sheets or standard ones with this, which is good as the standard ones are must cheaper to buy than the type supplied.The dust collector worked well and on the whole it is not an overly noisy piece of kit to use.You need to use a screwdriver to change the heads over which I found to be a bit time consuming. I would have preferred to have a slide on mechanism, or clip on system to make it more user friendly. It's not the worst thing, as it's not often you would frequently need to change the plate over, but still a slight let down.I also unfortunately found that the plate did not sit flat. I don't know if this was an issue with the one I received or a design flaw, but it meant that you used mainly the edges instead of the middle, creating an uneven sand.Overall, it did work and feels sturdy, but with some issues, perhaps due to a design flaw, or maybe just bad luck with the one I recieved.

We recently revamped our stairs and this was a key part of getting smooth finish to the old wood. I found it really easy to work with and switch between the attachments for a more convenient and detailed sanding; it is bigger than my old mouse sander but strangly not much weight difference between them which i really liked. The additional dust catcher came in very useful too.I was happy with the quality and effectiveness overall but wish more sandpaper was included.

The media could not be loaded.  Great solid sander with variable speed. The dust collection is no worse than any other passive system I've seen, but still creates a lot of dust, even with the paper holes lined up. The lead is a decent length but you'll need an extension lead for most tasks.Unfortunately changing the plates is not a quick process, very fiddly so I will likely just be keeping it as a sheet sander from now on. It's also quite bulky so not the best as a detail sander. Would be fine for a bit of DIY and someone who is very patient and doesn't mind taking their time to keep swapping back and forth.The included sanding sheets are a nice touch, but be aware they are all 80 grit which is probably a good middle ground but you will want some fine stuff for most applications. The mouse detail sander sheets I have did fit well and so did the orbital ones so you should have no problem finding compatible sheets.Overall, it is a nice powerful and quite versatile piece of kit.

so far this sander has been pretty good, having only ever owned a much smaller detailer sander many years ago, its difficult to give a comparison. the sander is really versatile and handy that it comes with the three sander head types, making it a one stop and not needing different sanders for different jobs. the dust collection box is a handy feature, but it has a filter inside the collection box that cant be changed, which may be an issue at a later time however you can attach a hoover to the sander, although doesn't fit my current hoover hose. its not very easy to change the sander plates, as you have to swap out the hard rubber posts, that get a bit stuck in. over all so far I'm pretty happy with this sander and it feels pretty robust

The sander functions well when used, and the dust extraction is passably good, although wearing a mask is still necessary for safety. The rectangular head was flat, and it gave forth a consistent sanding pressure throughout. The other two heads are plastic, but the circular head has a metal backing. They have Velcro hooks all over them, but the rectangular head also has clips to handle regular sanding papers that aren't Velcroed.Overall, the dust collector is not an extremely noisy piece of equipment to operate, and it performed effectively. It takes a little while to swap the heads around because you need to use a screwdriver. To make it more user-friendly, I would have liked a clip-on method or a slide-on mechanism. Overall, it functions and seems solid and I recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the construction of this sander; it has plenty of weight behind it, all the seams are tight, strain relief on the mains cable is good and the mouldings are clean. The mains cable is over 3m long which is very convenient. The only small point is that the on/off switch is a bit rattly, it has a positive action, but the orange slider jiggles around quite a bit in use.The sanding heads are supported by four rubber standoffs and attached using four bolts, this is a bit fiddly to change the heads as you also have to line up a washer-like spacer under the head when putting a different head on. I imagine that, with a bit of practice, it’ll get easier to do but, initially, it was a bit of a pain.The sander works well in use and the dust extraction is reasonably effective although you’ll still need to wear a mask for safety. I found the rectangular head flat and it produced an even sanding pressure all over. The circular head has a metal backing whilst the other two are plastic. They are covered in Velcro hooks but there are also clips on the rectangular head for holding plain, non-Velcro, sanding sheets.I’m very pleased with this sander, especially at this price point, about £64 at the time. I will be looking out for more Dovaman tools as it looks like the company cares about quality.
