This is a very useful item for small precision work, but I bought it to help with my insect photography. One of the stands had malfunctioning screw threads and when I informed the manufacturer they promptly sent me a free replacement. EXcellent service and I thoroughly recommend them.

Useful setup, and far cheaper than professional grade, precision soldering setups.I purchased this mostly for the magnifying glass, to allow me to do some precision soldering for a phone btb connector. It can be a little awkward since the metal arms don't tend to stay exactly as you position them (tension/ resistance tends to pull them back a little), and bear in mind that it's designed for smaller soldering jobs (phone sized boards). Aside from that, it does the job at an affordable cost.I wouldn't recommend this for a professional environment like a phone repair shop, but it's excellent value for your money if you're a hobbyist, just getting into DIY phone repair (soldering).

This product is perfect for me as I have a slight shake in my hands. Its sturdiness and ease of use has saved me a lot of time.Great product 👌.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this item to assist with soldering. It does the job but the goose necks are a bit flimsy. This means it can be hard to get them to stay in the right place when trying to work precisely.One of the gooseneck’s threads was threaded so needed a drill to get it to grip.

This helping hand soldering tool is the perfect thing needed to hold things steady while soldering. I've needed one for a very long time, but always thought I'd manage without one, I was wrong. It makes it so much easier to solder.In the box comes 4 arms with clips to hold your work and one arm for a magnifying glass. The base is heavy and very sturdy with 5 rubber feet underneath. The hole in the middle can be used for the included tray to hold bits such as screws or components, or the included solder cleaner wire in a tub.It feels very well made and it's easy to put together with the included screwdriver. For just under £25, I wish I'd purchased one earlier.

Most of the product was satisfactorily made, however, the ‘hands’ are poorly made and break after only light use. You can see that two of the four helping hands are now useless as the pin that goes through them has come out. As they are of ‘disposable’ quality, they are unfixable without replacing the pins with something else, such as large gauge electrical copper cabling.

War gerade dabei das Produkt zusammenzubauen, als ich plötzlich feststellen musste, das einer der Haltearme, welcher an der Bodenplatte festgeschraubt wird ein zu großes Gewinde hat und sich somit nicht festschrauben lässt. Kann nun das ganze Teil wieder auseinander bauen und zurückschicken.

Die Lötstation hat mich insgesamt überzeugt.Die mehrsprachige Montageanleitung (deutsch und englisch) ist vorhanden, allerdings lässt der Text sehr zu wünschen übrig – hier sind die Bilder allerdings völlig ausreichend, um den unkomplizierten Aufbau problemlos zu bewerkstelligen. Eine kleine Verbesserungsmöglichkeit wäre, die Beine direkt mit der Basis zu verbinden. Der mitgelieferte Schraubenschlüssel erleichtert die Montage erheblich.Die Basis überzeugt durch ihr (für die Größe) beachtliches Eigengewicht, was einen festen Sitz der Lötstation gewährleistet. Das schlichte Lupendesign wirkt auf mich irgendwie elegant und sagt mir zu. Die Klemmen haben einen festen Griff.Ich habe die Lötstation vorrangig als Unterstützung beim Bemalen von Miniaturen erworben, und sie erfüllt diese Funktion größtenteils gut. EinzigeProblem ist, dass der Griff für sehr weiche Materialien möglicherweise zu fest sein könnte, was die Nutzbarkeit in diesem speziellen Anwendungsfall einschränken könnte. Das sollte für andere Anwendungen aber eher einen Vorteil darstellen.Insgesamt bietet die Lötstation eine solide Grundlage für diverse Arbeiten und die pentagonale Basis mit Standfüßen sorgt für ein angenehmes Design mit gutem Stand.

Habe damit bis jetzt einige Klinken Kabel verlötet. Und eine feine silberkette. Die Lupe ist sehr praktisch. Beim ausrichten der beiden ca 1,5 Millimeter kettenenden hatte ich Probleme. Die schwanenhälse blieben leider nicht gut in der Stellung… musste einiges an Zeit aufwenden bis es einigermaßen passte … jedoch bin ich mit dem gesamten Paket und der Preis Leistung sehr zufrieden
