Bright, fast, easy, slick
I've installed the camera system into a 1951 Willys 4x4 flatbed. It replaced a short-lived system from another company that used RCA cables for its one camera. The LeeKooluu system is – dramatically superior. For my setup, I requested by email and got a license plate camera to supplement the cube shaped camera that came with the kit. The license plate camera installed easily and features a colored rectangular grid that – at least in Willy's case – accurately reveals the distance between my bumper and what – I don't want to crash into. This is a dramatic improvement over my side mirrors that really don't stick out far enough to see behind Willy, and the inside the cab mirror, which is completely blocked if I have garbage barrels in the back. Currently, I have the cube camera mounted so that it looks onto the flatbed – but may mount it to allow watching my front 2” receiver while I am hitching up to a trailer, wood splitter, etc. Though I could have used their provided cigarette lighter adapter to feed 12v into the system, I just wired to a toggle switch. It also seems to be setup to allow for power up via the backup switch that powers backup lights on fancy new vehicles. On the toggle, the screen and cameras power up within a second – and the display is bright. The cables are four conductor video cables that thread together. To my surprise, these cables are available in a various lengths via Amazon if I weren't able to get them through LeeKooLuu, but they supplied me with considerably more than I needed... Each cable has 2 conductors for video and two for power. Simple. The connectors are splined, so they can only fit together one way. The spline location is also marked on the outside with tiny arrows that I colored with a paint pen. Double check which way the cables want to go, because the ends are different and it is possible to snake them through your vehicle before realizing that the wires are backwards and you have to pull it out and reverse it. Before plumbing the setup into my truck, I tested everything with the components loose. In that process, I determined what side of the cube camera is “Up”, and marked it with a Brother thermal label. Apparently, if I'd mounted the camera upside down, I could flip the image with a button on the display – but why bother with that extra step. Just determine which way is “Up” and label it. I labeled the license plate camera too. I also added a couple of labels to the wires. Why not? The 4 conductor cable ends are bigger in diameter than their RCA predecessors so I had to drill a 3/4” hole for them to pass through. No big deal. If I were hyper sensitive, I suppose I could have cut the wires, threaded them, then soldered them back together, but I didn't. I also note that the cube camera connector came with a rubber boot to help keep the connection dry. I like it – and might add a little silicone to seal the connector if and when I find a permanent mounting location for it. (I've thought about making it a mobile camera with magnetic mounts.) The mounting display-to-vehicle pedestal had me puzzled for a few minutes – until I realized that the piece that the wing nut runs through, is two pieces that come apart – not one. It is necessary to take that apart to fit it over the circular pedestal that it is designed to lock into. I found that this assembly pivots up/down at two joints (and in a circle), but did not tilt left/right. This was the only complexity that I encountered and it is a minor one. When I wrote LeekooLuu if I was right about the up/down only adjustments – they sent me another base that does adjust up/down and left/right. For free! Well, if these two mounting options weren't enough (and they are for me), I noticed that the base of the display has a threaded hole, so one can presumably fabricate a stud / lock-net setup for yet another mounting method. The display switches between camera # 1 and # 2 very easily with a light touch of a button on the far right side of the display. Super easy. I have only been running this for about a month, so I can't speak to longevity, but so far the components and their design all seem to be excellent.

The LeeKooluu backup camera kit is a great value.
Monitor is better than expected with two inputs and multiple features only seen on more expensive monitors. Picture is great with options for backup lines selection on the monitor. Installation was easy and completed in less than one hour. Camera, housing, and IR nite lights are top rate. With the extra long cable that came with the kit, (no extra charge!) I can attach the camera to the back of my trailer to keep an eye on those tailgaters! Makes backing up with trailer attached easy as pie! Camera housing is heavy duty with multi-position bracket. It was easily attached to the receiver part of my receiver hitch between the bumper and the hitch with a large screw tightened hose clamp for easy moving to the back of my trailer when needed. Camera hides between regular bumper and receiver hitch. View is great for my 2003 Ford F150 truck that has no modern electronic devices like this. Comes with cigar lighter adapter (that has on or off switch built-in!) or can be directly attach with long, long length power wires to the backup lights for automatic use. A great buy makes me think I should have done this sooner! Thumbs-up for LeeKooLuu backup camera kit! First pic is the two inch rubber plug that comes out right under the drivers seat of my 2003 F150. Used a 5/8 inch hole saw that made a plug that fits back in the hole after the wires and connectors are fed through it. Ran wires under seat then along the console to the monitor that's mounted on a custom sales book holder. Next pic shows the mounting of the receiver hitch camera. Next set of pics show the mounting of the second camera which is one of the free items offered with this kit.

Great Backup Camera for the Price!
I received the backup camera in a very timely manner, it was 2-3 days shipping and I received it. The camera has very good quality picture and feels to be very sturdy and well built for the elements. There was more than enough cord and wire length, I installed mine on a Chevy 3500 flatbed truck. The monitor is nice and clear , there are adjustments to turn the backup lines on or off but you are not able to adjust the width of the lines so for extra wide vehicles like mine they are not accurate but I have them turned off. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is that the monitor feels very light, I am not sure about durability so I mounted it high enough to ensure it was not bumped or damaged. Also the RCA cable used to run from the monitor to the camera feels to be a standard cable, It is not heavy duty. So I purchased some plastic cable wrap at my local Autozone and wrapped the wire to help protect it from the elements. The installation instructions could be a bit better but it only took me about an hour to figure it out and test it and then about another 2 hours to do the install on my truck. For the money, I am very happy.

5 Star as of 6-2-21 will Edit if that changes.
Just installed 6-2-21 So far a great inexpensive option. •Contacted seller before purchase for free suction cup window mount and received within 3 days. •The clear case with foam is my own creation. (Did not come with product from Amazon. [Walmart purchase] $3) safe way to keep monitor safe when not using for pulling trailer. •Daytime pics are clear and have a few video options which I added photos for. •Night vision looks great with alternative lighting on, as show by clearer B&W night photo. Lower half cloudy B&W is without alternative lighting (aka motion flood light.) However if your looking for 4-5K quality be prepared to spend $$$$$. Otherwise it does it’s job. •No bright lights (from camera) to blind cars following trailer at night. •Hopefully display will be ok with car lights shining towards it. (Will post pics there too when I get them) •Ease of install: was simple for camper. Had just enough to get from back to front and have enough to have a little play to reach truck. I went over the top side of the camper with cable. Probably have a little more length if you run under. (19 foot camper from bumper to hitch.) On my truck was a little bit more complicated but that will very on type of truck and where you want to run cable.

Premium setup, with affordable price!
So far, this system is exceeding expectations in every way. PROS: - high quality - very reasonably priced - thorough instructions with access to short unboxing and installation video - excellent customer service and communication before and after the sale - free stuff (like, really FREE, not just over inflated pricing and then something they call "free") CONS: - The base / stand for our monitor was slightly different than the instruction video. I saw another reviewer say they sent theirs back because they couldn't figure out how to attach the base and thought they had received something incorrectly. It only took a minute to figure it out, but I can see where it could be confusing. There's a little knob thing you have to twist off in order to connect the base to the monitor, then screw it back on. Just a warning if you get yours and have troubles! This is definitely one of those purchases that I wish I would have made years ago. We purchased this for our truck, primarily to assist when hitching a trailer in order to see the ball. And also, to install a second camera on the back of our RV toy hauler, to help us see behind us when hauling our big trailer. The 23-ft cable was plenty long enough for our extended cab, long bed Chevy 2500. All pieces and parts are very well made, the video is super clear. I just put in my request for our freebies, but based on other reviews, I have full confidence they will be received timely, and in the same high quality fashion as the first part of the kit. I contacted the seller prior to the sale, to confirm which kit we would need. They responded back to promptly, and did not try to push the most expensive kit offered, which was much appreciated! I would recommend this kit to anyone, and I probably will!

Good camera at a good price
Camera kit was exactly as described. Camera and monitor worked very well during the day and decently at night. I believe it kicks into IR mode for night vision so it's a black and white image. But it's easy to see the curb and anything behind me. Make sure to check that everything works before installing it. It'll help familiarize you with how it's all going to go together and will also let you know which end of the cable should be connected to the camera and the monitor. Instructions were good. Made it plain to see how everything connects together. Installation was easy. Hardest part is figuring out which wires to tap into for your particular car/truck. GM definitely does not make it easy to find schematics on the internet but I was eventually able to find what I needed.

defective camera after two weeks installed
The camera system overall is good.. the camera itself failed after two weeks, and i cannot seem to get ahold of the company anywhere.. so i will try to find a similar camera, to use existing wiring and monitor. the camera also gave me a foggy picture about a week after, then went away.. and came back and went away, its hard to say to buy a different brand, because one of these works perfectly on another truck.. everything has a bad one once in a while so i guess i got one.. hopefully i can find a replacement camera...

Works as expected, at a lower than expected price point.
I ordered this based on recommendations from others, though I was hesitant as this RV backup camera system was about half the price of most similar systems I found through Amazon. It was delivered very quickly, and everything needed to make it work properly in a couple different configurations was included. I am currently rebuilding an 80s Toyota RV and this will be a key piece when done. I test fit the product and got to play around with its features today, and it works as expected. It is not the highest quality camera in the world, but it is perfectly adequate for what it is intended to do and has a night vision mode. Hook up was easy, and lots of extra cable and bits included to set it up in several configurations (On when in reverse or always on, 12v lighter plugin for power or hard wire into a 12v line with the included connectors). I'll be hard wiring it into a 12v line with ignition power so it's always on when the vehicle is on. The instructions were fairly clear, though poor grammar throughout (typical for direct from Asia products). That being said there are youtube videos available for this exact camera system so follow those if this is your first rodeo. Lastly, the seller is very responsive via email and more than willing to offer guidance and answer questions. You can also request a windshield mount for free from the seller if needed. So customer service is on point.
