The chair is well-crafted, with sturdy construction and a plush seat that makes it perfect for lounging. Assembly was a breeze – I only needed to screw on the legs, which were thoughtfully wrapped in fabric to prevent any scratches during shipping. I purchased this chair specifically for the bedroom with no intention it will ever be used to sit on so regardless of whether it is comfortable or not, it will just be used for somewhere to throw my clothes towards at the end of the day - so with it's intended use out of the way, lets discuss the purchase itself and how easy it was to put together. Out of the box my first impressions were that this was never a quality piece of furniture and nor would it last any real test of time if it was to be used in a lounge however for the money and as a bedroom chair filling up space in an empty corner of the room, it's perfect. The grey colour of the linen fabric is very neutral and goes well with all the other bedroom furnishings however I would have preferred natural wood colour rather than the black effect for the legs as I'm sure this would have enhanced the overall "quality" effect considerably (I'm half in mind to replace the legs at a later stage as Amazon do a variety of leg kits for such a purpose). Lets not get carried away however with being overly critical as this is very much a sub £100 deal and therefore offers remarkable value for money. Another key point to note is that this is quite a small chair in terms of width and depth, perfect for the corner of a bedroom however not really suitable for the average person's use if used beyond being a feature piece. Assembly was extremely easy with the legs secured using the 12 allen key bolts all screwed in within 10 minutes (the allen key is supplied so no additional tools necessary). The final task was to position the chair in the room, slot home the back rest and place the cushion seat base. Final conclusion: Perfect as an accent chair with minimal use for sitting on - I would certainly question it's durability for any regular use beyond this. The black legs, in my opinion, let down the aesthetics especially in the bedroom - I think Homcom missed a trick here as most other chairs at a similar pricepoint seem to go for the natural wood look which would have added a touch more class. Easily put together especially as all the holes lined up perfectly so no issues with trying to force anything during assembly and all achieved within 10 minutes. Value for money - yes indeed for what I intend to use it for.

A really comfortable chair very sturdy, looks very modern and can't fault the price , the colour matches my sofas perfectly and I will consider buying an other one for my bedroom when I redecorate it 10 out of 10 😁

looks amazing in my newly decorated room, but really really not that comfy. Oh and it was so wasy to put it together, did it in less then 15 minutes. I bought it with looks in mind rather than comfort until I decide on my long term furniture. I'll sit in it to look at my phone when its on charge and when people come round to visit as I don't want them to feel uncomfortable in my home. Bonus to this is that the grandkids don't like it and won't sit on it, so no messy finger prints from the grandkids :-)
