This bad boy paid for itself after one cold winter bike ride. No other hat under my bike helmet has been able to keep my ears and head warm, accommodate glasses (without fogging them up), and allow the perfect fit with my helmet as this product does.

This is the best balaclava I have ever used for cycling. I do wear size large in hats and helmets, so I would take seriously what other reviewers have said in this regard. It did fit snugly, but comfortably and contoured nicely to my head. As such, it fit well underneath my helmet. The fleece upper portion of the cap provided warmth while allowing perspiration to evaporate. I believe the fabric that covers the ears is wind blocking. The lower portion covers the mouth and chin, and leaves the nose exposed for easy breathing. It can also be easily pulled beneath chin when the air temp is warm enough to breath directly.

A great item if you ride an E bike in cold weather. A little tight, but still works

I can't imagine biking home from work in the cold in the dark freezing nights of Boston without this. It keeps my ears and my face warm. I think I have a pretty big head. It's oblong so it's a bit tight but does fit me perfectly. I know some people complained it was too tight. I will admit that I wear my hair back with a big clip so it does mess up my hair And I have to remove the clip, of course but that is a small price to pay. You can also remove the part covering your mouth if you feel you need to talk or you're getting too hot under there. The little holes near the ears for the glasses are a great touch. Good value.

My head is pretty average, nothing extreme about it in any way. This cap does not fit me well. The top part rides down and irritates above the eyes. The face shield is too small. It doesn't cover well enough around the nose. The face shield is also one material, nothing different around the nose/mouth. I bought a different one at the same time (thought it was just a cap and pissed that it had a face shield, but the fit is so much better and the different material around the nose/mouth works great. going to buy another one of those) and mush prefer it. Only use this one for very short rides. May cut off the face shield and use for slightly warmer days.

The price is worth it. Very comfortable and warm. The thickness is just right and will stretch to fit. I barely feel the wind.
