SAPHIR Medaille d'Or Reno Cleaner - Professional Leather Cleaner for Deep Cleansing and Stain Removal on Smooth and Exotic Leathers

For gentle cleaning of older boots, shoes, and other leather goods, this Saphir Cleaner works very well. I have used it on an old pair of roller skate boots and it cleaned them up very nicely. Just remember to condition the leather afterward.

Saphir Réno'Mat is the best fine leather cleaner for shoes by a mile. It is very strong and will really take off any ground-in dirt, old polish and anything other than the dye that doesn't belong on the leather. The odor is strong as well. I only use it when it's apparent that a wet cloth won't remove the grime. Since the cleaner pulls pretty much everything from the surface of the leather and opens the pores, you absolutely need to put a conditioner on afterward, such as one of the Saphir conditioner/polishes or Pure Polish Cleaner/Conditioner. Don't cheap out on taking care of your leather shoes---they'll reward your attention with many years of life.

This has saved so many pairs of shoes, handbags and chairs in my home. I have some leather chairs that were dulling and drying out from sun exposure. This restored them and conditioned them really well. They look beautiful once again.

Used this on a used shoe purchase. It did a great job stripping old wax, oil, and dirt. The shoe received conditioner very well after this plus a little cream polish left them looking like... well not like new, but like very well loved and cared for shoes. Highly recommended if you buy used leather shoes.

Get this for leather that is NOT highly polished. Duller finishes. Anything by this brand is great!

Saphir Reno Cleaner for smooth and exotic leathers is excellent for removing dirt, grime, wax, polish, resin, oil, paint, dust, and residue in leaving the leather as clean as it can be. It also works very well on bicycle shoes such as plastic and vinyl surfaces and will not damage them or leather. It is highly effective at cleaning the PVC coating on my Ortleib messenger bag.

Periodically removing all of the old shoe wax and some of the scuffs are necessary. This stuff does the trick and feeds the leather. Used on all of my Allen Edmonds shoes. Highly recommended.
