My hair is about 5 inches longer from my shoulders and I am a senior citizen. My hair is coarse with no hair dyes or chemical treatments. The Blinkeen works well for the hair on the sides of my head but not the back of my head. The Obeye System works better for me. Thank you.

This is an awesome product! It’s the only heatless curling product I’ve purchased that created curls that I actually felt like I could wear in public. The only thing is that unless you figure out how to wrap different sections in different directions, one side of your head is gonna be curled towards your face (maybe I’m just stupid and there’s an easier way to avoid this). I’m writing this after only my first use and the application was awkward but manageable. I can only assume it’ll get easier after a couple more practice rounds. It was very secure and comfortable to sleep in overnight. I’m halfway through my day and the curls have relaxed beautifully but are still holding their shape. I do have naturally textured hair that holds curls well. I’m not sure that this would work on straight hair, unless it was just being used to preserve a blowout overnight. Overall, I highly recommend it- especially for the price!

I was pretty happy with this product because it does work to keep my hair curled and looking great after a blowout until I found a better version of it. I don't like how small the foam part is that you wrap your hair around. There are other products that do this better. The other issue is that I have to wear another small scrunchie to hold my hair tight enough to be able to wrap it around this product effectively. That leaves a crease that I'm not about. However, I will say that with this product I'm able to wear my hair up in a bun and it just looks like I have a scrunchie holding my bun together so I'm not embarrassed to run an errand wearing this. So I plan on keeping this one and the other one because they each serve different purposes and each have their pros and cons. However, I prefer the other one over this one (it's made just like the sleepy tie... It's a much more accurate dupe)... And has a better price point as well.

This actually worked really well to curl my hair. If I dampened my hair first, it would be tight coils in the morning. It was too curly so I used it with dry hair and wrapped loosely and got really nice waves. However, the elastic wore out after less than 10 uses. So it’s a concept I’ll execute elsewhere.

amazing silk blowout tool for sleeping. i feel like everytime i use this after a blowout my hair does not fall. i also feel like it protects my hair while im sleeping. highly recommend!

Didn’t work for my thick Asian hair. I gave it 2 stars because it can hold my long thick hair as a scrunchie after following the instructions but it does not curl

This has worked perfectly for me! It allows me to put the button really high up on my head, so it doesn’t disturb me while I’m sleeping, other ways of heatless curling will create more bulk around your head, which can be uncomfortable, especially if you have neck problems. This gets completely out of the way, I brushed my hair with a brush that’s been slightly moistened before wrapping it up and then in the morning when it’s dry, it produces the best curls!

It's actually a great scrunchie for thick hair, but doesn't quite do what itis supposed to in mine

With my wavy but silky hair i need to apply a curling cream for this to work but I enjoy that it can protect my hair and keep it straight if that's what I want as well. It looks good while wearing and has never fallen during the night.
