This onesie was bought for my boy for his 7th birthday as he adores “Baby Yoda” as I’m sure you are aware it’s still the “Craze” amongst the young ones. It did creep up in price by a few pounds before purchasing. From £19.99 to £21.99, which I didnt mind as long it's of quality.QualityI was initially worried as some previous image reviews shown ripped stitching or considered it to be “Poorly Made”. But as this listing was the only one that had the size 7-8 years available and for next day delivery, with his birthday being a few days later. I took the risk, and if it was precisely that, I could return and purchase another similar elsewhere. Once arrived, I inspected, and I didn’t notice any loose stitching or obvious imperfections and has been washed a few times on a 30° delicate cycle over the last week (first was before wearing). And tumble-dried on the lowest possible setting without issue as fleece material tends to shrink at high heater levels and lose its form or become tacky looking. Washing and drying on those lower levels haven't impacted the fabric, embroidery or fit. The zipper glides easily and hasn’t stuck, which can quickly and annoyingly happen in such garments. I wouldn’t say the fleece is “Thick”, but it’s enough to retain heat but still keep comfortably warm although it is fluffy. The ears are securely attached to the hood, of course, as long as it is cared for and washed in delicate washes. Then they should stay intact.SizingOur boy is small framed and height for his age. We find most garments aimed at 7-8 can sometimes be largely made and can still be a hit or miss in areas. The size 11-12 years would be too large. This size 7-8 is perfect for him, not too large or small, just enough room to move and not have the cuffs ride up to his arms or droop off his hand when moving around as the cuffs are also slightly elasticated, as are the ankles.ConclusionOverall, our boy is happy with it. He wears it most nights but removes it just before bed because it is hooded for obvious safety reasons. Based on the product we received, I have no issues recommending purchasing.
